My spinning guild issued a “Brown Wool Challenge” where we all got the same brown wool to knit, weave, crochet, etc. Here’s my entry! This is the Inverted Peaks pattern from Drops Design. Still have the ends to weave in, but I LOVE it.

Entered three pieces in my local fair and I place 2 1st and a 2nd!! Not a bad showing here. 😏
Finished my Nordic Nights sweater in time to enter it in the county fair! Didn’t get first place, but I’m very pleased with the comments.
Frankly, the best category available to enter a piece like this is “Fancy Stitch” sweater. I think I’m getting knocked since the “fancy” part of this sweater is only the yoke and sleeves. Oh well! I LOVE IT
Cables for dayyyyyyys. Finished and blocked this Hayley Slipover pattern. It’s doing to be so nice in winter.
ALWAYS. BLOCK. YOUR. KNITS.
Makes such a difference in size and drape.
Wip Wednesday! Working on a brioche hat from some handspun I finished recently.
Made a fun two ply from HipString fibers.
Gray base with subtle shades of color. Colorway name is “Haunted”. Might make a hat with it.
WIP WEDNESDAYYYYYYY. Started this Fern Field wrap on Monday and it’s just flying. Imagine that. Things make progress when you work on them!
Quick Halloween project for my daughter’s costume. GUESS WHO FOLKS????
Lots of progress photos for this finished handspun! It still needs a good soak, but I’m so pleased with the colors. Taking suggestions for what to make…Maybe a shawl? No other ideas come to my mind.
Free feet pic. 👣
But seriously. Love how these socks turned out!
A rather neutral WIP Wednesday selection here.
I’m getting closer to finishing the body of my cabled vest. And well on my way to another skein from my “Bag O Wool” endeavor!
It’s been less than a week since I started this back panel and I’m almost to the underarm. It’s relaxing to follow a cable chart instead of counting rows. 😎
Started working on a cabled vest for ME! This is the back panel. I’ve been in a knitting slump lately- and this feels like a bit of magic. Perfect pattern, perfect yarn, perfect time.
Whoohoo! Done and washed! Time to enter it in the county fair.

These are coming along rather well! ❤️💙❤️💙
Groove Is In The Heart socks by Charlotte Stone
Bobbin 1 of a 3 ply completed
Feels odd to be so clearly done with 1/3 of a project.
Like finishing 1 sock.
