Possible addition to the "Yang is smart post" - I know you said the entire fight with the Bandits, but I wanted to especially emphasize the move she used against Shay D. Mann where she propelled herself over him and then propelled herself into him (a bit hard to explain but I hope you know what I mean). That move is likely a direct reference to Bakugou Katsuki, a character Shay's VA also voices that uses gauntlets like Yang and was thought of as "dumb" at first but got the 3rd best grades in (c)
a class of 20 and has high intelligence in the official stats (4/5) and has also been shown to be very observational and strategic like Yang. I don't know if the FULL depth of that parallel was intentional but it's certainly interesting.
Ooh, that is interesting. I knew there was a reference to that character, but I’m not familiar enough with BNHA to know that extra tidbit. It might be coincidental, but it’s still pretty neat.
