Haunted Dreams This started as a super quick thumbnail but oops...threw a few more minutes into it. I'm thinking of turning this into an actual painting as the need to feel tactile art has been calling. Also, I need to be working but been trying to fight depression and finding it more therapeutic to throw the depression into this character. She's actually been around for many years and I keep combining her with other elements from things in the past. She's the embodiment of innocence and is deaf, blind and mute. Kind of a compilation of the see no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil. Cat skulls are my beloved departed cats, little ghost dog spirit is my Brewsky that got killed last year. Fish in the hair represent dreams trying to free themselves. Falling flower pedals are shedding of skin. And if you've read this far...you deserve a cookie.
