yall, racism is systematic. you cannot be racist to white people because there is no system old, or new, or ongoing that makes us hate white people Solely for the colour of their skin. yes, you can be cruel, rude or biased etc, to or against white people. but that does not make it Racism. we as POC are biased against white people because we have been and will be subjected to racism from the day we are born to the day we die. white people do not face this. POC go their whole lives being extremely misrepresented in all forms of media, we are targeted with physical and verbal abuse by strangers solely because we arent white. we are untrusted by default because we aren’t white. society condemns our natural features and says we are ugly are whole lives because we arent white. white people, while they also struggle with things like this (ex: fatshaming) do NOT fave it because of their skin colour, or their culture, or where they were born.

our cultures are also constantly being demonized and taken as a joke (for example the marie kondo incident with ellen and jimmy fallon) or just being used as an accessory. while there is a fine line between appreciation and appropriation, white people will cross the line a lot of the time (i.e. kim k, kylie jenner) and no matter what we are and always will be taken a joke. and yes people of other races will do the same but white people all of the time can get away with it without any repercussions while POC are constantly being judged and given less opportunity because they embrace what they grew up around. POC can go around calling white people crackers but what does that do to their ability to get job opportunities for example? nothing. a good majority of people who commit terrorist acts are white people but who’s to blame? muslims. so yeah, white people don’t experience racism

hello! im not sure if anyones asked you before but your headers are beautiful and i was wondering how you made them. im not asking for a tutorial or anything but ive never edited in my life and id like to try my hand at it sometime, and your headers are goals

hello!! 1st of all thank you so much!!

well, gosh, it’s really hard to explain my creative process tbh, since it could pretty much be summarised as me messing around with photoshop, in the equivalent of throwing everything at a wall and seeing what sticks.

if it is a gif header, it’s pretty easy. i just gif and colour normally (i have made a tutorial of how i gif literally years ago here, but i follow pretty much the same process) and then i use a brush from here (on a new layer) at the bottom to finish it off.

if it’s a graphic header, then it’s a mess. there’s really no rhyme or reason to it. i have a lot of photoshop brushes saved as well as a lot of textures, and i tend to draw my inspiration from them. i also use gif overlays like sparkles, glitter, dust, falling leaves, etc. you can find brushes, textures and overlays, as well as tutorials on how to use them, here on tumblr in resources blogs such as @itsphotoshop or @chaoticresources. i also tend to look around on deviantart for those.
