Magic Box: Favourite possession?
It’s a bit morbid, but the most treasured thing I own is my dog’s ashes.

Do you think Drusilla foresaw Angel staking Darla?
My personal headcanon for Dru is that she often isn’t lucid enough to differentiate between psychic insight and illusion, between premonition and hallucination. In the spirit of cruel irony, I’d imagine she’s ignored dozens of important visions over the decades for this very reason, whilst taking countless irrational anxieties as prophecy (haven’t we all been there?). A prime example would be in Redefinition, where she has a vision of being set on fire and can only perceive how pretty the flames are. In contrast, whilst Spike was always obsessed with Buffy, the only reason his romantic feelings for The Slayer were ever realized was due to Dru acting on the vision of him falling in love with her. If she hadn’t left him out of fear that he would fall for the Slayer, then he probably never would’ve, or at least never noticed. Self-fulfilling prophecy at its finest.
I can imagine this being the case in regards to Darla’s second death. Maybe she foresaw her dying and mistook it for madness. She only realized that her vision was, well, a vision, in retrospect, by which point it was much too late.
On another note, Drusilla’s visions do appear to be a lot different to Cordelia’s or Doyle’s. Unlike the aforementioned, Dru tends to get her visions in symbolic, cryptic imagery and poetic verse. Perhaps her visions are interpretative, and it’s simply a matter of guessing correctly. Get a vision of Darla’s heart turning to ash? You might assume heartbreak just as quickly as slayage.
Suffice to say it, The Sight sounds like a horrible ‘gift’.
