Those Days
Week 2 Day 4 >>> Caruki Month
From A Young Age
One would think their childhood is like the ones in movies, yeah? A person is born like everyone else and given the proper care from their parents, being fed, sleeping, and having all the attention they deserve. That can be the case for those with no siblings, however. One family so differ from the other, yet linking with the same fate.Their parents, who once loved and praised that child, now forget them and turn to cherish the much younger child out of the family; truly it’s unfair. But it passes over. Jealousy is jealousy, it dies down, right? Reviewing how childhood can be related to movie ones, that...can differ to reality-- Well, in this case, that’s what it appears as.
There can be those types of families.
The ones who pay no attention to their kids and are WAY more focused on money and work, the ones who are strict and force their children into doing all the cooking and cleaning, and the ones who tend to abuse their children for unknown reasons. Now, many stories can be like that, including the fact families aren’t always perfect and develop differently. In the end of these, at least one of the two parents demand a divorce or the possibility of death from their lover, then blame the child or children for that outcome.
Exaggerating can be taken here, don’t get that wrong! But take the message that there’s another possibility for kids to be kicked out of their homes by harsh parents, being unwanted, noticed, or loved. Indeed, the father regretted the choice and took out all that anger on the on himself for suicide, as the other father would leave for good.
Neither mother is there however...
And each kid from the family was alone. One from the richest family in the village? Now on the streets. The other from a wealthy community? Kicked out for being different. Nothing. Nothing happened to that boy, for the father was being strangled from behind by what said to be a jump rope from outside, the tension around the neck getting bigger and bigger as his throat pipe was being crushed right before the. Neither of the boys crossed paths, until they were older- Wiser.
Love is hard to obtain, it can be. Being a judge is just for sale, free samples that leave marks. Ruki sighs when feeling Carla rub his scars at his back, the proof of his survival of hell and back from the orphanage. He’s thinking hard, stressed out. It’s all physical language Carla was able to read and figure out day one of knowing Ruki. It only takes a rub to the back to provide comfort.
“One of those days, perhaps?” Carla spoke.
Little gloomy with the trickles of droplets on the window makes the atmosphere in the room dimmer than the lights.
Ruki nodded. “Indeed.”
It’s one of those days.
