The room had a vague citronella smell, one that Severus normally associated with magical cleaning products. But he had been told he was to spend his detention cleaning after the chaos his last encounter with Potter had caused only two weeks into the new academic year. Apparently one of the suits of armour was still hiding in the broom cupboard trying to reattach its own arm. Severus was currently putting a ward up around his bag, not trusting it to be safe while he was off serving his detention, when the door opened and the rakish figure and tousled hair of his archenemy darkened the doorway. He stood at once and in a voice as low as a whisper hissed, "Potter." He gripped his wand all the more tightly.
