CaW Appreciation Week, Day 05: Crossover
I cannot crossover with anything other than freaking Neon Genesis Evangelion and I had a hell of a hilarious time thinking of this crossover. Naive T-Cell EP-0202 (Asuka) just wants to kill pathogens. EP-0301 just wants to live. Lol.
I decided to join cells at work appriciation week and the prompt for day 1 is favourite character so I drew U-1146!
Bonus edit
I”m late for day 6, but a cinderella au! Bc... I wanted cute okay?
A Softer Cell, part 6. [I’ll reblog with the links to the rest.]
Day 5 of appreciation week is for crossovers. A Softer World mashups count as a crossover, right? I still feel like I might be the only person who still does these...
There’s one more, but the text is more gory than canon usually gets so I’m putting it under a read more.
CAW Appreciation Week Day 02: Dendritic Album
Disclaimer: CAW (c) Shimizu Akane
CLICK! went Dendritic Cell’s camera, snapping a photo of the two unsuspecting cells. Now he just needed a front-on view photo. With that thought in mind, he set to work to procure it.
CAW Appreciation Week Day 5: Crossover
I mean, we gotta get this bread, right?
Cells at Work Appreciation Week Day 4: Favorite/OC Bacteria/Virus
Honestly, I really couldn’t decide which canon bacteria I liked the most, probably a tie between Campylobacter, the lactic acid bacteria, or one of the oppurtunistic bacteria, so I just made up my own and called it a day.
This is Snakey the Strep, or Streptococcus salivarius, subspecies thermophilus. Snakey is a VERY special boy, because despite being a streptococcus, he’s quite different from other streptococcus species(about 3000 years of evolution/development different, in fact). Not only is he harmless, he is quite important to the gut’s normal flora and he’s a very good little noodle(like, seriously, look this guy and his relatives up, the organism is incredible). He enjoys hanging out with other lactic acid bacteria, warm snuggles, sleeping, and yummy lactose.
Also random fact about S. salivarius thermophilus: if anyone saw my reblog of my one post yesterday where I was talking about experiments with using bacteria to treat or slow the progression of cancer, this is one of the bacteria that might be used. It’s not one of the more effective ones they’ve found, but it is the safest and could also be used to help manage GI issues caused by chemotherapy.
