Shhh, darling. I am not at all scary and you should never be frightened to talk to me. I am always happy to talk and/or to flail and/or to provide emotional support, especially after All That, so yes.

I am delighted that you enjoy my fic, and will still be working on the Procurator and S3 and so on. I definitely still have endless (and now deeply spite-fueled) love for the real characters, and we will see how projects shape up. But thanks again for popping in, and feel free to return!

I will say, I vastly prefer season 2 (even with the unsightly *force this ship down your throat*) and I am VERY excited about where they’re going next.  I can’t wait for some villain-hero bonding with ALL the characters!

SO THERE'S THIS GIRL NAMED MARISSA WHO IS BASICALLY MY SOULMATE/BEST FRIEND/LITTLE SISTER LBR.  

marissa and i met a long time ago via a harry potter roleplaying group in this massive group chat and we never really talked or got close until we actually got close to a mutual friend.  and then we started writing a lot together and then we branched off and did our own thing for a while. 

let me tell you, marissa is one of the most talented writers i've ever seen in my life.  she is INCREDIBLE and she is going to do amazing, amazing things.  

WE ALSO write a lot still like teddy/victoire, who are our babies, and she will 9eva be the tom to my minerva and lola to my tony and romanov siblings.  

i think the world of marissa.  she's been here in my darkest times and brightest times, and she's always been supportive and kind and wonderful and i am so grateful to have her in my life.  ALSO, she just started college this year and i'm so excited for her and she's going to be incredible. :')

i think one of the absolute hardest things to do is treat yourself with the same kindness and acceptance you offer towards others. we are our own worst critics, you know? that doesn't devalue the things you find important and meaningful, even if they are "trite" or "overdone," etc. if you worked hard on something and think it truly conveys your feelings, then try and roll with it, even if you feel uncertainty. i'm sure you already know all that but i just wanted to say something. feel better!! ♥

I think a lot of us do have the tendency to be our own worst critics, and to look at things we may cherish in a harsher light because of it (I'm always like "should I be more intellectual/cultured/artsy/avant-garde/unexpected" when it comes to things I like, perhaps music in particular - and it's so silly because I would never do that to someone else!). (And I question my own inherent value a lot so that probably comes into play in regards to questioning my preferences/emotions with other things, too.) This is very good to remember, you're right - something's popularity or prevalence isn't the measure of its worth, especially its personal worth to us. Thank you, lovely, for your understanding and the kind message! ♥
