From a very young age, Morgan has expressed an interest in magic. Both of his parents use it and the first time he’d witnessed it – the flashes of beautiful colors, the finesse, the power – it amazed him to no end. He thought it was just the coolest thing! Luckily it took no convincing for his parents to teach him. It seemed they were both happy to indulge their son and teach him how to properly defend himself and others.
Robin often pushed him to think of new ways out of difficult situations as well as how to use his magic in unconventional ways, sometimes going to more extreme lengths with it. This made her a force to be reckoned with and, in the end, he could never beat her. Yet that’s not to say his father was any easier. Henry’s magic, unlike her’s, was always far more raw and less controlled, and in this way he could still manage to hit him even if Morgan had thought he’d dodged. He never bested him either, but there was a very distinct tie or two. All in all, both taught him an incredible amount that would make him quite the foe to be feared (if not for his softer nature making him seem like a gentle little marshmallow at least).
While elemental magic typically comes the easiest to mages, Morgan seems to be predisposed to dark magic with an unusually easy control over it. (Given who his parents are though, is that really a surprise?) Nosferatu is the tome he enjoys using most as not only can it do a fair amount of damage, but it also heals – something part of him wishes he could do for others but can’t. He’ll still readily use other types of tomes if the situation calls for it, but Ruin, Nosferatu and Thunder are probably the ones he uses most often.
Additionally and interestingly enough, Morgan has never felt the draining and painful affects that typically accompany being exposed to a lot of dark magic. He does, however, have a few small burns on his hands and forearms from Fire and Thunder related incidents.
Morgan really loves fruits (watermelon, yellow apples and peaches in particular). Sweets are okay, but they’re typically too much for his palette. As for meals, he’ll feel they’re lacking if there isn’t some sort of meat involved – without it, he feels it might as well be a snack! All that said though, he really isn’t picky and will eat just about anything you put in front of him.
