          “May I propose something? I am a bit… sensitive to electronic things and I’ve been hearing something like static from the moment I caught up to you and the princess A-ya. And even now, I still hear it, I believe it maybe something like a microphone. It’s simply a feeling however, A-ya, would you mind checking your pockets while I were to search your bag?” Simeon gave a simple smile as he extended his arm. 

          “Simeon isn’t usually wrong about these sorts of things, but, it’s your call whether you’d like to listen to him or not Ayato. I wonder what should I do with this human… As long as I don’t kill him, could I feed on him? Though I suppose the first thing I should do is confiscate that knife, right?” she asked rather nonchalantly; not even bothering to ask the human because she wasn’t giving him a say in it after what he’d just done.

“Hm? How strange. I have no reason to forbid him from searching my bag, so go right ahead Simion.” A-ya takes his school bag off of his shoulder and hands it to the man in a mask, once handed over he searches his pant pocket and school blazer to see if there was anything strange attached to them.

“Mmm.. As long as you don’t kill him or ruin him mentally, I won’t stop you. We should definitely get rid of the knife first though. Perhaps even search his bag.” He did pull out a weapon from it after all. What else could he be hiding in there? A-ya wants to believe nothing else, but…he can’t ignore the possibility of there being more weapons.

“Jesus, you’re going to torture me now? I’d rather die than be toyed around with. And A-ya’s just agreeing to it... god....” When A-ya begins to rummage around with his blazer though, C-ta turns surprisingly silent.

“…? ....Oh. I just found something.” It was so small he wouldn’t have noticed it otherwise, hidden in his blazer’s pocket there it was. A small black object. So small you could barely see it even on the tip of his finger.

“What’s this?”

I dunno why but I was thinking of my William muse today and how;; It’d be terrible if he ate another persons happy dream accidentally. Or since he’s so young, he might see a persons dream and think it’s a nightmare or painful for them and eats it, only to discover he made them worse. 

Or if another person used him like Olivia did to erase memories.

“I believe I’ll try finding the autograph next. I think I know where I can find something like that rather easily. Also thank you for destroying those horrible objects, I owe you everything Cheshire. I don’t want to be a princess! Princesses are always being rescued or tend to rely on others more than themselves. I don’t want to be that way any longer! I know Mother and Father wanted to protect me but I always hated being treated so softly. I’m meant to be a boy but they never treated me like one! I hate myself for being so compliant to their whims. Is that how you felt when you had to obey White Rabbit? You don’t have to tell if you wish.”

Allen continued his way back in the direction of the large tree. He wanted to go in another direction other than the others he had previously gone down. This world was probably his ideal world considering how wonderful it was to be here.

“Heh, an autograph is strange thing to ask for Cheshire. There isn’t anyone here besides me or you so who could I get an autograph from? It would be silly if I wrote something on a piece of paper then gave it to you. I want to find something more meaningful to give to you. Perhaps I could create an unique autograph. That would be exciting would it not? I’d hate to start becoming predictable to you.”

“Mrrr… Yeah, I can relate. Hearin’ that guy giving me orders, telling me to go do this ‘n that really grated on my nerves! I liked doin’ most of what I did, but having him order me around made me wanna puke and claw him up! …Though I’d just get mauled again.”

For a moment the cat’s signature smile faded to a frown, his ears twitching and tail swishing back and forth a bit as he remember’s the jerk. Talking about it made Cheshire really sympathize with Allen a bit. He usually wasn’t much for being swept by any emotion other than that of madness, so it was always a strange sensation to feel.

“Myahaha! You’re startin’ to think outta the box, though your heads just peekin’ out right now! However you decide on this autograph, I look forward to how you decide to write it. Just writing ‘Allen Llewellyn’ would be pretty anti-climactic though. You’d get points off my fun-o-meter, which is never a good thing to minus from me.”

“Oho~ A wild Akira has appeared!” Futaba says as she points at the young man who had emerged from his “room” up in the attic.

“You gotta help me! My life is seriously at stake here!”  A sigh is heard from Sojiro, seemingly implying that she had told him already what had put her ‘life on the line’

“There’s this new set of Phoenix Ranger Featherman R figurines! And they only sell them at physical stores!! What kind of Evil Demon Lord is ruling the Phoenix R Empire?!”

          Her father didn’t act like this, at least not to her knowledge… perhaps when he was younger? Still, now wasn’t the time to wonder about that, “Wolf demon, Succubus, Vampire. Get it right you moron. Foxes are different from wolves.” she wasn’t even phased by the fact that he had a knife, in fact, her actions to protect her friend from this… psychotic boy, only stemmed from this strange feeling, a sensation nagging at her and yet she couldn’t quite place what it was. 

          She raised her hand and muttered what seemed to be a spell but in another language before chains would rise from the ground and attempt to ensnare the boy. “I won’t kill you; as much as I’d like to because you pose a threat, for the sake of Ayato, I will not.” she spoke whislt flicking her wrist to tighten the chains around the boy before she’d then pull him to the ground and move to sit on top of him; hoping her weight plus the chains would be enough to keep him down. “Threat has been neutralized, however, proceed with caution.” she commented to A-ya.

The boxcutter wielding boy’s eyes widen further than they had already been as chains coil around his body. He attempts to shake them off, but quickly discovers how pointless the action is. However, he doesn’t stop trying, grunting, wriggling, until Akane sits atop him. The very action felt so degrading and offensive and all he could do was growl and mumble.

“Akane… Thank you.” A-ya could understand why she’d want to kill him. After all, he just took out a WEAPON. But in the end, C-ta was still his childhood friend, so obviously it’d be upsetting for him to die.

“I think C-ta might have lost it so much he deluded himself to think you are Kokkuri-san. He’s always showed signs of… molding what people are to fit his own desires. So he equaled you to be ‘The evil traitorous Kokkuri-san.’” He looks at his friend, letting a disappointing sigh out.

“I’ll try to be more careful from now on. I… Never thought he was capable of this. Though I’m curious how he heard what had happened with the onna like that. I think Stalking us in person would make him too tired, we’d have noticed immediately if he was out of breath. And we ran here as fast as we could.”

               This one was assuming, putting words in A-ya’s mouth, words he’d not spoken and she wasn’t liking where things were going. Akane felt the hairs on the back of her neck stand up; something that only happened once; when she sensed Simeon was in danger… She looked to Simeon questioningly before he gestured his head towards A-ya. Akane wasn’t sure she fully understood, but she was able to put enough together that Simeon was signalling her that A-ya might be the one in danger and as a result, she forced herself between A-ya and C-ta.  

          “You were watching us then. I knew you were lying. We came here to hide and for me to change clothes while Simeon fixes my dress. But I see no point in changing if I might just get more blood on it; only it won’t be mine this time. You are forcing your protection on him and from how he was speaking earlier, he doesn’t want to hurt your feelings but of course, you’re too deluded to think about how he actually feels.” 

Oh dear. He slipped it out. Not that it matters. His hands dart toward his school bag where a boxcutter had been waiting for him to wield. What does this woman know? He needs to protect him. Protect him. Protect him. Isn’t staying in this world the largest source of pain for A-ya? He’ll die soon anyways. As would C-ta. If this girl is going to try and tear him away then he might as well just end A-ya’s suffering right now!! He was about to try to stab A-ya but got blocked off from reaching him before he could even do anything.

Grrr– He can’t even kill A-ya without her getting in the way! How annoying! 

“Hghhh.. That’s right. I was watching! I can’t just… let you be all over him like that…  What do you mean? Hurt my feelings... Ha... You must be the fox right?! You said you’re a demon… You must have... Put him under a spell or something.. While I wasn’t watching... Yes... If A-ya’s going to die then he might as well just!!!”

C-ta’s loosing it. Is he even listening to what he’s saying? He doesn’t make sense at all. And A-ya see’s it. The edge of a boxcutter protruding from his schoolbag. If Akane didn’t move between them. He most definitely would have tried to stab him with it. A-ya was shocked to see C-ta behaving like this all of a sudden. He’d never been like this before. Yet... It doesn’t feel as strange as it should. 

“What the hell is wrong with you C-ta?! Do you even hear what you’re saying? This is ridiculous.”

“What’s wrong with me?! How rich!! Shut up! ShutupshutupshutupSHUTUP!!!!”

“Heh, thanks for that Cheshire I think I understand what that story was about now. I’m the princess of that story, while you’re the cute but mean cat who ends up becoming my friend. My parents are the King and Queen and the frog is…”

“Yes, I know who the frog was. I hated that frog, it always asked me pointless questions I didn’t want to answer. It was the type of frog that wasn’t cursed into that form either. It was a dumb frog from the start. If you say anything can considered trash from someone’s point of view then I suppose pointless questions would be my idea of trash. I can’t give that to you though, so I need to find something else that is more worthy of that title. I don’t hate frogs by any means I simply find them to be rather annoying. I have no idea why Joshua loved them so much. I always found them to be rather repulsive. I wonder so much these days.”

Allen walked onward until he came to a forest of green that seemed to go on forever. He continued to look around for anything trashy yet everything looked so beautiful. Despite what Cheshire might be thinking it was hard to find anything Allen considered to be trash. Father always taught him that everything had meaning. Then all of a sudden an idea came into Allen’s head and like magic he found them almost instantly. Before him were various rabbit patterned objects and clothes given to him by his parents. The urge to burn them was overpowering, Allen had always hated them. They were useless things that only served to remind the boy of how much his parents coddled him. They treated him like he was a princess and never let him do anything or go anywhere remotely exciting. He always followed their rules like the stupid boy he was and never questioned anything. He had wanted to break these objects! Yet had never had the nerve.

“I found something Cheshire…these are trash…break them please…”

A-ha! So that’s what trash is to Allen. Being treated like a princess, being coddled, dressed up, raised to be seen as a vision his parents saw him to be. All of that materialized in these rabbit-themed clothes. A rabbit pattern made Cheshire want to shred them up! If it was trash to Allen, then there’s no reason to keep it anymore. Rabbits are disgusting.  Especially those of the white variety. He hates Rabbits, a passion far outweighing Allen’s distaste for Frogs.

“Gotcha! Mwehehehehe~ And so the Princess threw away her Dress, falling into the ashes~ The End!” The Cats claws grew in size, until they had become nearly half Cheshire’s form. He rains fury upon the clothes, scratching up the pieces of fabric until they were little more than thin lines scattered around. When finished, Cheshire ties one up into a ribbon, and once done the ribbon changes from white to purple, completely erasing it’s past pattern. And with that a new ribbon was adorned upon his hoodie.

“That sure was fun! Got to take out summa my frustrations! Trash has been taken out Milord! Milady? Eh. Well, whatcha gonna find now Allen?”

          Simeon scowled slightly, but refrained from moving; he saw no reason to fight this boy so long as he did nothing to harm his charge… even if he knew full well that she could take care of herself. Akane on the other hand was fed up with this boy and was very willing to fight him if it weren’t for the fact that she didn’t know if her new friend would be against it. But then, she thought of something.

          “If you knew what was best for him then you wouldn’t be smothering him. Granted, I’ve never seen you two really spend any time together but your words alone prove my point; you seem to be defenestrating any and all proper reasoning simply because I stated that as a non human I’d be able to do better when, my logic, in comparison to your lack thereof, is sound.” She paused for a moment before continuing, 

          “You’re right about one thing, I don’t know him very well. But he and I have met before, he’s also met my elder cousin and we do get along well. Oh, that also reminds me, if you really could protect him, or rather even cared for him at all? You wouldn’t be forcing your protection on him over mine. You would ask him instead. But I suppose that shows just how much you care about him after all.” Akane crossed her arms, daring him to do something about what she just said being prepared to move in defense of A-ya if need be; she might have to if her feeling about him was right; his attitude reminding her of her father really wasn’t helping

“Why should I have to? I know him better than he knows himself. I don’t need to ask his permission. Either way he’s fine with it… He’s fine with me protecting him… He needs me.”

“C-ta… I…” The boy in question bit down on his lips. If he said what he was thinking it’d hurt C-ta. A lot. I don’t want to be protected by you. The real one here who’s dependent on the other is you C-ta.

“Don’t say anything. It’s alright. I understand you. I’ll escort them out for you. You must be exhausted A-ya. Even if it was to hide them, the onna should be gone by now, hmmm?”

“…What? I didn’t— ?! ” No one mentioned that he came here to hide them away from the onna. Just that they had gotten attacked. Saying ‘Even if it was to hide them’ is….

“Go ahead and take a look around, I’m not particularly supposed to hold you back.” Unless she were to try and escape from him, right when she was in his clutches. Yuuri isn’t sure to why he needed her to remain here, but at the same time he couldn’t really question it. The most bothering part of this is that it felt like someone was whispering into his ear - about what to say, what to do, just for this particular woman.

Her inquiry about the professor caused him to shrug, “Just like any old man drinking from the grail of power. I don’t particularly care for what he does, as it’s the teachers and students to look out for.” Plus, she had no bracelet, meaning that she wasn’t of importance to him. So it would play out just fine.

“Mmm… Well… Then I guess we’ll continue walking then? I’ve never been on an island before, the air is so crisp it makes me want to stay outside!” She tries to change her tone to be more upbeat now. Might as well try to have fun, right? The world’s weather isn’t going insane on her yet, so either she’s not considered dead to this world, or it’s safe for now…. Right?

 Truthfully the way Yuuri spoke about the students and teachers was worded a bit strangely to her.

‘It’s the teachers and students to look out for….’ Well, no matter the implication, staying out in an open field would be better than going inside where most people would be. Though…. she was still on an island…

“I think I’ll look for the trash next. Although where I’ll find trash out here I’m not too sure. I guess I’ll look around a bit more. You’ll follow me right? You always did before and showed up whenever I least suspected. I don’t need to worry that you’ll leave me alone! I know you won’t leave me Cheshire! Not ever or never!”

Allen wandered further away from the tree, there was a wide field of green everywhere Allen looked. He had gone the opposite way of where the cloverfield had been, before then wondering where he created this environment from. The boy never gone to a place like this before yet for some reason he felt he had. It was most strange the didn’t tally up to logical thinking. Then again, this was a dream of sorts so the logic of the real world obviously wouldn’t hold weight here. Allen hadn’t paid any attention to the real world as of late because it was boring.

“The one who comes here will be my prince!” said the princess to the frog. “Why ever is that?” said the frog “Because a wizard told me that it would be so!“ said the princess “Why would you listen to a random wizard?” said the frog. The princess doesn’t reply no matter how many times the frog asks why she listens to the wizard. Her mother and father were concerned about the way their daughter acts but the princess doesn’t worry. She’s happy being by herself waiting for her wonderful prince to come. Instead of a prince coming though, a cat comes instead. The cat is purple, has a strange sense of humor, and can sometimes be mean. The princess doesn’t mind that! She’s just happy that someone isn’t looking at her strangely for once. The prince ends up not coming in the end but the cat stayed with the princess and that’s all that matters. Everything is better now with the cat.”

Allen wondered why he said all those things to himself. It had nothing to do with the game yet while he wandered he felt the need to craft this story about the princess waiting for her prince to come but instead found a cat friend instead.

“Goin’ from the hard to find one to the trash eh? Mwehehe~ How interesting! Dont’cha worry! I ain’t gonna leave ya! It’d be no fun sittin’ on my rump all alone out in this here field! I wanna see what trash ya find.”  One mans trash is another man’s treasure, and one mans treasure is another man’s trash! It was fun to imagine what Allen would choose as his ‘trash’.

The cat curls his body as he begins to float in the air, making a position as if he was laying down while his body floats along to wherever Allen was going. He was gonna ask if Allen needed a hint, though trash seemed to be the easiest of all the items listed. But instead of that, the kid started reciting a story. 

“Hey now who’s that dapper purple cat that’s kinda mean? He sounds like my kinda guy! I’d buy em drinks If I met him! Myaha! Just kidding. Well then, I think that cat should be the prince dont’cha? He did come after all, and the princess said the one that comes there will be their prince. A cat prince would be much better than some dumb ol rando prince anyways!”
