//Not me having the random thought at 3 am about how Ikora is not only the oldest of the "OG" Vanguard in terms of rez age but actually in terms of chronologically when her original self was from.

Because she's from the (late) 60s possibly (early) 70s when she died, Cayde was (end of) Golden Age/Collapse most likely, Zavala was even later, around the time some Awoken returned to Earth.

In terms of rez age, Cayde was at least 125 years old (though he claims he is way older, but it is Cayde, so who knows how much he was exaggerating, though he took part in Twilight Gap and was around when before Saint disappeared so he probably likely does have a good century on him).

Zavala trained under the Iron Lords and was a student alongside Lord Shaxx, so he was probably late Dark Age. An NPC in the Tower can be heard saying he is at least 200 years old, too, though again, I take this witj a pinch of salt. His upper limit is about 300-400 years, though, as that is roughly when the first Awoken started returning back to Earth.

Ikora is a bit harder to pinpoint. She didn't speak with Ophiuchus for 61 years, and she was already the reigning (modern) Crucible champion with her 25 win streak 125 years before the games. Zavala has known her for at least a century according to lore, too. Then there is a really hidden clue in the lore where Felwinter challenges Shaxx to gain access to the Warmind bunker under his castle, where Felwinter states Ikora beat Shaxx, so it is possible he can. Shaxx is still a Warlord at this point, this is before Osiris took Ikora on as a student, probably even before Felwinter took Osiris on as a student, and obviously before Zavala and Shaxx were students of the Iron Lords.

Which, if Zavala is at least 200 years old... Ikora is... old. Not like Saladin and Drifter old (the former calls her a young pup, which is actually delightful) but she is up there. Like, at least 300-400 years for sure, but potentially up to 500 years up there which is kind of scary if you think about it.

Kinda makes Lodi's roundabout way of asking her age funnier, though.
