HooboyI was gonna save this for a bit of his own headcanon post, but I'lljust get started here cause lol it'll take me a fuckin' year to writethe whole thing tbh. Cause it's ?? It's not complicatedbut it's a little hard to describe without some depth. But I'll trymy best to keep this brief.

     So,obviously Faron believes in the Elvhen Pantheon. It's literallywritten on his face, and his everything.Oddly enough, I don't actually get too many opportunities to expressexactly how devote he is to them — or rather to June.Mainly because it doesn't come up a lot, as its not a huge topic.But, considering he has half his face covered in ink as well as agood portion of his body plusthe vallaslin actually scarred over the ink; you would think peoplewould ask more. Though, I sort of take it as they either don't wantto be super rude about it. OR they don't know how to phrase. Andthere's the chance they just don't give a shit. Who knows, take yourpick. Personally, I don't mind. It doesn't make sense for a bunch ofreasons, but eh. Ya know.

      ANYWAYS.Okay so, as I mentioned, Faron is specifically devote to June. “It'scause he's a craftsman.”Yes. I made Faron relatively chill and shit like June. Why? CauseJune gets no love lbh. But also, because honestly, it fits him. Itfits him well. Not much at all is known about June, but yet Faroncould feelit in him. Feel that tug and pull towards him. It's not some like ohhis past life. It's literally because of my own personal beliefs.

    Inmy belief, which is the Norse Pantheon, there's a fuck ton of gods.Like a metric FUCK TON. Okay. It's ridic. But, in practice, most willfeel the presence and connection to oneor two of the gods. Maybe even more. You devote more of your time tobuilding a relationship with this God, because it feels good.It feels like home and a comfort. Mine's currently tied up withprobably Freya, and Thor. Some times I feel Ullr. But, no matter whatit's those I connect and feel with most right now. So, I took a goodportion of my own beliefs and threw it to Dalish culture. Or at leastto Faron. Because I feel like that's better than “I like this one'smarking.” Which is fine, but unfitting for Faron. I wanted Faron tohave a deep connection to June, and I wanted it to be more of himbelieving in JUNEmore so than the others. That's not to say he doesn'tbelieve in them. He does, he believes in all of them. But he feelsJune more in his life, and always has.

    It'sactually probably one of the best parts of Faron at the Temple,because he's like lol shut the fuck up shem & shut ur dirty mouthegg head. Talkshit about June, I fuckin' dare you. BASICALLY. Which I love in general because even when Faron hearsabout the murder and the war. Even when he learns the truth, he stillbelieves in June. He still has faith in June, and feels the tug andcomfort with him.

 Whichis super important to remember, by the way. Cause for Faron, his dadwas abusive and forced him to a hunter, and forced him to go againsthimself. (Of course this works out a bit because otherwise hewouldn't have learned to skin kills nor would he be an A++++ archer.) So, to feel that connection to June, god of crafting and shit, hetried his best to deal with it and still craft. To still build thatskill.

      TL;DR: Faron is devote to JUNE, not the whole pantheon.
