I wanna know about Bob’s siblings? I’m particularly biased to learn about his sister and also that one brother with half his face missing — also if it’s alright, could you reblog your Well-Made Lithuania lore posts + sprite edits for the people that are unfamiliar?
The Great Siblings/the few remaining Greats alive (from left to right: Alistor, Devin, Elizabeth, Greggory, Mary Ann, Robert, Beth, and Seth)
As i've alluded to in another post, they run the only remaining Great Family Brick factory, they also live inside said factory and have done so for their entire childhoods, previously they also lived with their father and grandpapa (one is dead, the other MIA)
a little side info on those two, Grandpapa Great is the VERY LAST member of the family to have been involved with the mafia side of the family business, vowing to steer away for the sake of his son's wellbeing and the wellbeing of his beloved grandchildren, but ofc just because you leave the mafia, doesn't mean the mafia leaves you. so Grandpapa has to go missing. then shortly after Papa Great gets snatched and imprisoned.
turning back to the siblings- they're all tightly knit and depend on each other to get through life, both personally and business wise.
going in (rough) age order:
-Robert is the main leader of the group, very strict and to the books, especially after all the cruelty and darkness he's seen that surrounds them, he felt the need to fill in the spot as 'man of the house' after losing both their grandpapa and papa in a short span of time. for his grumpy, stubborn, and asshole-ish ways, he's only trying to keep his family safe.
-Devin is the near complete opposite to Robert, much calmer and more sagely, like a gentle-parenting type, he sees what the stress can do to any sane Well-Made Robot- especially when it's from an equally stressed Robert- so he opts to comfort and coddle when he deems it needed.
-Bob (not shown) is/was part of the brains of the family, sharing the spot between his two older sisters, Elizabeth and Mary Ann. he took the most after his grandpapa and inherited his passion for submarines and other similar sea vessels, he is also deeply caring for his family and wants the best for them- hence why he decided to go to the LMA, as captaining is a high paying job that would be able to keep them afloat for a bit longer if he played his cards right.
-Elizabeth is a bookworm and a dreamer, taking care of archiving, out of the three sisters, she's the most positive thinking- almost naive, wanting to travel beyond the walls surrounding Lithuania's borders with Alistor and see the world beyond. however during one of their many mini-adventures past the Industrial District, they crossed paths with some Elite Soldiers and were brought before a newly appointed Mongardo. she wishes she could undo that night.
-Alistor is the charmer of the group, having used to handle the customer service side of the business and scoring them many perfect deals with Mary Anns help with the paperwork. but similar to Elizabeth, he dreamed of more and seeing everything earth had to offer them. that foolish thinking only lasted a little while after he sacrificed his dignity and face to keep his dearest Elizabeth safe, taking the punishment for both of them in front of an audience, assuring her he isn't mad and she shouldn't feel guilty, even when everyone around them avoids them like the plague and his joy starts to dwindle. he'd do it all over again.
-Greggory is a chronic worrywart, paranoid and frightened easily, he is in charge of making sure the machinery and safety rules are up to code, often times pairs up with Devin since he knows how to calm Greggory best, rarely leaves the factory grounds due to the very real fear people are after them and will get them all one day.
-Mary Ann is in charge of the paperwork and keeping the siblings on track, sharing a similar- but not as intense- strictness that would make a military officer blush in awe. she tries to be the voice of reason to Robert whenever he goes too far, with varying levels of success, unable to let herself relax as there's ALWAYS something to do.
-the Twins (Seth and Beth) weren't supposed to exist- at least not as twins, a mistake happened in the nursery they were built in where the employees accidentally brought two blank shells to life and were unable to unbond them. originally Beth was supposed to be the last Great Sibling, having been mostly finished when Seth was awoken, Seth was supposed to be cracked open as his voicebox was faulty, and seeing how poorly he was being treated without a way to verbally defend himself, Beth decided to be his voice and refused to let him go- causing a weeks long war between them and the staff.
This battle only ending when Papa Great prodded the employees for an update, which ultimately lead to him getting two children for the price of one. The Twins take care of the domestic household chores while everyone else is in the factory, whether that's cleaning, cooking, gardening, laundry, etc. Beth is particularly fond of cooking and gardening, and Seth is particularly fond of tailoring and sewing, spending their time looking through magazines and newspapers for new styles/recipes to try out.
(also in regards to old posts, i fear there isn't much TO repost, as a lot of the lore has been locked away in my head and between a couple people, in addition a lot of sprites need to be updated- or at the very least i need to make new art, which i am decently excited to make/share! ^^)
