I’ve seen way too much negativity here so I just wanted to share that Chase and Buddy have been extra dumb lately and it amuses me so much!! Like wdym you wrote him the corniest song ever (like I cringed but I’d probably tear up if I were Buddy too), then had a revelation so horrible you went to see your dead dad to cope, and then the next time you see your loser bf you’re swooning again. They’re so ridiculous and sad and I love them terribly!!

We hear about Chase’s friends, but does Deacon have any? No mentions of him still friends with people from the same high school he and Chase went to, nor mentions of any friends from college.
So. I headcanon that at the stargoth wedding, Deacon will be *Buddy’s* best man. As far as I see, that’s Deacon’s closest friend who isn’t a relative or a tiny metal person

I’m so happy that Buddy joined the key family! Instead of like being born as an ex libris hostage or something. Violet and Goldie mention how they’ve *all* had to teach Buddy how to function in a different environment and how they all see him as a brother, and honestly I don’t think stargoth would’ve happened if the keys hadn’t already helped Buddy with adjusting first. Also stargoth would just look like trauma bonding from Buddy’s end if Chase was actually fr the first and only person to ever extend love to Buddy — I’m so happy he has his own support system even if they’re tiny and metal!!

I hope Deacon gets to write a very popular series, in which there are side characters based off of Chase and Buddy and (much to his dismay) the side toxic yaoi ship is far more popular than the main straight pairing

Some people here have clearly never been cringe and in love. Like you're already cringe then you fall in love and you get cringier, and you KNOW you are, but that seems to be working right? So you keep on doing it until you eventually hit burnout. It's also like both Chase's and Buddy's first relationship so it's all even weirder, it's kind of a given/rite of passage. They may have problems in the future (Chase forgiving so easily will bite him back at some point, and Buddy has a LOT to adapt to), but they can figure it out. I believe in them .w.

Everyone be saying that s2 is soon coming to an end and that s3 is not greenlit yet bc Punko originally planned 2 seasons and a "possible" 3rd season. Can I just say that, if s3 happens, I really really want it to be just a big G/t season. Like. I'd be so sad if Nox is already turned human by the end of s2, we'd be robbed of all the possible G/t interactions between Nox and Chase.
