The Real Reason to go to CBC
There are so many amazing things at CBC. Loads of new gadgets and gizmos, shiny new toys, great seminars, and of course, awesome beers. While all of these things are great and fun and good reasons to attend, the real reason I would tell someone to attend is to meet and catch up with industry friends.
We rolled around the floor yesterday (literally) and filmed interviews with 23 exhibitors and attendees. Along the way we were able to catch up with some friends and clients, as well as make new friends. Here are some photos I snagged while we were interviewing brewers at Crosby Hop Farms.
We will be rolling around the floor more today, nabbing more interviews and making more friends and connections... and loving every minute!
Got my beer socks on. That can only mean one thing. Time for #CBC2015 stop by booth 740 and check out our conveyors and accumulation systems! #cbc15 #cbc Mention this post and get a free high five.
Only @ the #CBC15 would u find this. ;-) #craftbeer is gr8. (at Veterans Memorial Coliseum (Portland, Oregon))
Our Chat with Charlie Papazian
We had the privilege to sit down with Charlie Papazian for an interview this morning. Charlie is the President of the Brewers Association and wrote the most well-known home brewing book, The Complete Joy of Homebrewing.
He gave us an awesome interview, I tried to steal his beer, it all went really well!
Charlie still home brews about once a month and he still plays around with recipes and ingredients. For him, beer is about remembering friends and experiences, he tries to brew beer that reminds him of the good times he has had over the years.
Cheers Charlie and thanks for sitting down with us!
