Careful Esu, they come when called. No but generally the fandom for SS is frightening. They can ship the ship, I'm not going to say they can't, but they want so desperately to ignore that there are any issues with it and that's fucking terrifying.

Oh but you’re not a true shipper if you’re logical and sane enough to call out the faults in your ship while you ship it at the same time. Logical shippers are ~fake~  because a real shipper defends their ship tooth and nail and plays down all the ugly parts.

Like that thing made me nauseous and that's saying someone considering the fact that i can look at gore without flinching. SasuSaku: Where love is more nauseating than dissected human beings.

Every now and then I try to think of them together and I have to let a shudder run through me. It’s impossibly difficult without disconnecting myself from the entirety of the manga. You cannot think they’re a good couple otherwise. 

AND then there’s the fandom.

I still can't get the doujinshi where Sakura poked a hole in a condom out of my head and no matter how much i like well written AU SasuSaku fics i still think of that whenever i think of the ship itself and just no. That's one of the worst (fanmade) things that I've seen come from the SS fandom

I can see the depiction of Itachi religiously if it's from Sasuke's perspective but otherwise.. plus the glorification of Itachi makes it pretty hard to actually like him as a character.

He has lots of flaws. He is very self aware. He does not want to be worshiped, or glorified, yet fandom tends to do it anyways. ]]
