re eolsen, I hate how the internet works now that if something isn't posted, it's not "real". Death isn't a joke, grieving isn't a joke. If someone I know passed, my first reaction isn't going to be posting a selfie at the funeral or wake. A public figure is still human. Rando keyboard warriors have no say in how someone processes their grief.
Dude, did you see the 20/20 special on Chadwick? They basically interviewed the whole Marvel Universe cast and the one person who was LEGIT visibly shaken and holding back tears was Lizzie. She was tight with Chadwick and if Ryan Coogler didn’t know about his cancer Lizzie didn’t either so it took her by surprise too. Fuck those people. Evan Rachel Wood posted some really insightful stories on her IG about how social media has turned grieving into a narcissistic spectacle of people performing grief to outdo each other and literally that’s exactly what happened here. Because Lizzie wasn’t performing her grief publicly she was suddenly evil and a target. Fuck the internet. From the depths of my heart I really do mean that.
