Three am and passed the point of overtired, Bishop’s eyes stung as he lay flat on his back still staring at the ceiling and while hours upon hours had passed, not a single second wasn’t taken up with thoughts of Faina and how everything had played out; that and that moment where he took someone’s life. Grumbling to himself, within minutes he was fully dressed, shoving on a hoodie from out of his bags that had been packed for him as he began to slowly open the window --- he and Asher had snuck out so many times when they were younger and hell, Bishop used to sneak into the estate not that long ago before he had triggered; what was one more time?? He. Didn’t. Breathe. The. Entire. Time. “Holy shit.” whispered words spoken in surprise as climbing the fence suddenly became easier and, oh, he was out --- so, Bishop began to wander, phone in hand as the little blue light showcased how many messages he had sent and maybe someone should have been with him, perhaps he should have just told Gray what he needed to do, but newfound emotions weren’t allowing Bishop to think straight and yet the wolf felt as though he was actually thinking perfectly straight for the first time in forever. “Uh.” first words spoken when eyes finally laid themselves upon the witch who up until a few hours ago he actually believed he’d broken up with willingly??? Bishop’s feet had lead his body to her, in a spot he could just feel she’d be at, at this time of the morning considering all that had happened and while he needed his ex to know he’d change everything in a fucking second if he could, shit --- he just needed to know she was okay. “Okay, don’t -- don’t hate me or, just -- you know? Shit. I’m... --- please tell me you’re okay because you weren’t and I remember now and I punched him and...” he was speaking English, right??? Shit. Shit. Shit. Not how this was supposed to go. Had he moved? Crap, he hadn’t. “ -- Fai, I’m so sorry.”
