Also it really feels like he’s taking the most strawman arguments possible. or the one that are most easily misinterpretable ? Like ‘the age argument’. Ma dude, you still executionned a guy then beat the shit out of his friend when said friend thought it was a dick move, despite circumstences.  Also hot take: but the festival is the most.... idk... forgivable action of his? Like, if you want to be somewhat forgiving and get to his pov, yeah it was a dick move, yes, that shit traumatized tubbo. But schlatt gave the order. Like this is your scapegoat. Schatt asked, some ppl in the crowd was wearing netherite which can be a dissuation technique IG. 

He focusses so much on the actual execution, which is the least of the critiques now. And doesn’t even glance at: his reaction towards tubbo afterward, the pit, the withers, doomsday, the lies he kept telling tommy, the belittlement.... like if it was just the festival, no one would be dunking on your character half as much as they do.

It may arrive pretty late (in like a week or so), but fuck me, I'm writing up some c!Techno crit, those cc!Techno takes based on misremembering stuff, disregarding story aspects and disrespecting serious analysis with work put in were not it

We know that in character c!Techno has zero fucking regard for the story he's in, that he has no concern for stakes, immersion (which he breaks CONSTANTLY), tone (which he muddles consistently) and much less the concept of consequences (which he never gets)

But now cc!Techno's openly kissing c!Techno's ass? And telling people to cut out lore discussions with emojis? And making fun of everyone taking ages into account (which isn't even that common a thing anymore in serious analysis) by doing the "my character is 3 yrs old guys" thing?

Fuck that

I hope c!Quackity and c!Tubbo take turns turning his lives to zero, they deserve a win

Anyway c!techno massacring a crowd full of dozens of innocent people who’s only crime was going to a festival fully believing they’d all fully die, including his ally c!niki legit is one of the most morally fucked up actions on the dream smp. Like, that’s genuinely full on EVIL. If this stream was meant to make me more sympathetic to c!techno guess what? Now I see him as only barely better than the likes of c!dream (because he’s not an abuser) and borderline irredeemable :/

hello mcytblr, i have a genuine question about the latest discourse but if you are a techno fan who gets offended easily please just move on thanks. (but if you don't mind answering, id appreciate the perspective of a techno fan). you can dm me your answer if that's more comfortable for you btw.

am i allowed to be upset at cctechno's takes, not necessarily mad at cctechno (like, i'm not gonna dm him hate or something) but his takes remind me of those analysis posts full of misinfo? especially since he's a cc, so it's gonna be really popular (i already feel very conflicted over cctechno's fanbase glorifying ctechno). i can't really tell if he's being sarcastic in some of these sadly, cause i know his entire pov as both character and creator is about not doing heavy lore, but absolving himself entirely of responsibility for the festival (i might make another post about it but i wanna know if i'm being a really shit person right now) really just...upsets me, i guess.

i'll admit here, i am a tubbo enthusiast and i don't watch techno's pov as much as others so i guess i'm kind of biased but i just feel bad being annoyed by it when cctechno meant no harm and is just trying to get his own opinion out there.

so, yeah, is it a bad thing for me to be offended by cctechno's takes? /genq

ok but of all ppl, why did techno chose to make WILBUR seems like the horrible guy in the situation? When Jschlatt is the one who was pressuring him for example? When the ‘crowd’ was supposedly cheering for him? And he choses to say that it’s bc of Wilbur?? or TUBBO bc he ‘wanted to kill him in the explosion’??? Like wha..?

Like I feel there’s been a running theme for months now of ppl giving wilbur the blame for things that are clearly not his fault (and villanizing him to the point where some ppl think he’s the biggest baddy in the server which... yikes.)
