             carpe  diem  !  most  people  knew  that  as  an  inspirational  quote  ;  something  to  push  them  through  their  day  &  onto  the  next  .  for  cleotilde  though  ,  it  was  one  place  at  the  resort  that  she  despised  going  to  .  alas  ,  as  an  event  planner  it  was  difficult  to  avoid  .  he  was  difficult  to  avoid  .  so  the  brunette  stood  of  to  the  side  of  the  stage  ,  listening  ,  waiting  ,  all  so  she  could  have  a  quick  conversation  with  the  band’s  leader  .  it’s  when  the  song  ends  that  she  offers  a  small  wave  to  kal  ,  only  speaking  once  he  gets  closer  .  “  nice  job  ,  ”  short  &  simple  ,  yet  she  meant  it  ,  “  you  have  a  second  to  talk  ?  ”

cleotilde : i started a new job as an event planner & it has been CHAOTIC to say the least lmao

             “  so  like  -------  how  do  you  get  people  to  engage  with  you  ?  ”  as  she  asked  her  question  out  loud  ,  cleo’s  cheeks  seemed  to  grow  a  bit  more  rosy  ,  she  felt  weird  asking  a  question  like  that  ,  but  at  the  same  time  she  was  eager  for  an  answer  .  getting  people  to  actually  engage  with  her  polls  &  surveys  would  help  her  plan  for  better  events  .  at  the  same  time  ,  the  answer  would  help  cleo  in  her  own  personal  life  .

             for  the  past  week  or  so  ,  cleotilde  had  been  binge - watching  romantic  movies  .  typically  ,  she  tried  to  stray  away  from  them  due  to  the  fact  they  reminded  her  of  her  own  failed  love  life  .  but  she  needed  some  new  ideas  for  events  &  typically  those  ideas  came  from  movies  .  the  previous  night  ,  cleo  had  watched  the  kissing  booth  (  both  of  them  actually  )  .  the  thought  of  having  a  booth  like  that  seemed  interesting  though  ,  or  a  date  auction  even  .  so  of  course  cleo  called  up  cloe  in  hopes  of  hashing  the  idea  out  better  .  “  do  you  think  people  would  be  interested  in  a  date  auction  ?  most  of  the  money  would  go  to  charity  &  the  rest  would  go  into  the  resort  .  but  do  you  think  people  would  see  that  kind  of  event  as  degrading  ?  ”

             it  wasn’t  often  that  cleotilde  put  herself  in  situations  where  she  would  be  uncomfortable  or  just  out  of  her  comfort  zone  in  general  ,  but  there  was  always  one  person  that  she  loved  to  hang  out  with  .  giselle  .  the  other  was  always  so  much  fun  to  be  around  &  she  was  able  to  drag  cleo  out  .  “  alright  i’m  all  ready  for  the  adventures  of  today  ,  ”  cleo  said  with  a  laugh  ,  an  awkward  motion  of  her  arms  &  an  little  jig  .

             FINALLY  !  cleo  had  a  day  off  .  most  of  the  time  she  stayed  indoors  ,  catching  up  on  some  of  her  favorite  shows  &  latest  music  .  but  today  seemed  to  be  so  beautiful  outside  that  she  knew  that  she  would  be  stupid  to  pass  up  being  out  &  about  .  so  cleotilde  found  herself  at  the  pool  ,  selecting  a  sunbathing  chair  without  seeing  who  was  close  to  her  .  it  wasn’t  until  she  was  all  snuggled  into  her  chair  that  she  turned  to  see  dianne  next  to  her  .  “  oh  hey  ,  ”  cleo  started  ,  adjusting  so  that  she  was  still  laying  down  but  was  semi - facing  the  other  ,  “  how  is  that  whole  big  wedding  coming  along  ?  ”

             “  without  going  too  much  into  the  WHY  -------  i  need  your  quickest  way  to  get  a  guy  you  used  to  be  with  back  .  ”  after  meeting  up  with  her  ex  to  discuss  work  ,  cleo  seemed  to  be  determined  in  a  way  to  salvage  what  she  could  of  their  relationship  .  however  ,  she  didn’t  think  that  she  would  have  to  tell  cloe  the  reason  as  to  why  she  wanted  to  or  who  she  was  pining  after  .

             “  so  .  .  .  i  was  curious  if  you’d  like  to  come  shopping  with  me  ?  ”  what  an  awkward  thing  to  ask  somebody  that  wasn’t  a  close  friend  .  although  ,  cleo  was  hoping  that  the  makeup  she  applied  would  cover  her  rose - tainted  cheeks  .  yes  ,  she  actually  wanted  his  opinion  on  some  of  the  clothes  she  bought  .  but  why  ?  cleo  would  never  say  that  reason  outloud  ,  but  she  would  fib  .  “  i  just  need  a  guy’s  opinion  to  be  honest  ,  i’m  trying  to  impress  someone  .  ”
