i say..the mod collective is rather annoying place to download anything, unless you subscribe you have to download every piece one by one and you have just 10 free downloads in one day... so yeah

downloading cc has become so stressful...

endless loops from links to links

scrunchy meshes and high polys

adfly and linkvertise

paywall, curseforge

otherwise lousy and unethical business practises

downloading cc used to be fun, all this is making me want to go vanilla, it does not make me want to download cc...

good thing there are so many good free smaller creators here ♥

i wanna see mor rip into az like you were saying in our last chat and see lucien and eris' reactions too. mor because i do think part of her understands that reader is hurting really badly, she attempted her own life after all. while mor is right to have her own feelings, she is generally known to be sympathetic towards hurt women. Eris because reader went to him for an escape from the NC, he was able to deduce it wasnt all sunshine and rainbows so he gave her the arrow. but he didnt know how bad it must've been that reader would turn it on herself and take it that far when she returned home. And Lucien because I think he would see Eris' niceties towards reader and see it for the older cranky brother/ younger intelligent sister relationship it is. And not even to mention Elain's own feelings on reader's attempt. I imagine that similar to cassian, lucien would take both into account before making an opinion.

headcanon that its lucien who drops the bomb on eris that reader attempted her own life with an ash arrow. 👀 eris has been shown to have a soft spot for Luc so i imagine him giving a little bit more of a genuine reaction to news like that from his lil brother? which would be fun to see, (soft eris when!?!?!?!?!?)

Idk I wanna see Luc advocate for reader and imagine the angst from like an Az POV too 👀Bc he talked sm shit ab reader and praised elain, and heres elain's mate defending reader in front of elain? Az's ego needs the hit and i think that in the right circumstance it would make him reconsider his own actions and make amends. I also think it would be a pleasant surprise for reader, to see someone she rarely interacts with still defend her. Not necessarily because he knows her but because it's the right thing to do, which would rock her world and give her a perspective change.

Elucien and Nessian in the way that you write them are really good support systems for reader rn. Elain offers her sweetness, Luc is a good advocate, Nesta is a protector, and Cass is relaxed. All things that i think reader needs rn.

It would also be a perfect way to introduce Helion 👉👈🥺

I feel like I’m struggling with this honestly? I feel like Mor would want to help reader because she’s obviously hurting, but then Mor is also hurting because of something reader’s chosen to do, which puts Mor in a difficult situation of grappling with her conflicting emotions? I hope chapter 18 doesn’t make Mor seem super unfeeling in one particular part 😭🫠

I’d lowkey like to see what Eris would do if he found out reader tried to kill herself? Especially recalling that part where he says something like ‘either do something or just lie down and die’? 😭 I can’t remember what it was exactly, but his own words kind of biting him in the ass/coming back to haunt him I imagine would be kind of funny 🫢

Ooooh this is something interesting because I’m of the mindset that Lucien still sees Eris as the rest of the IC does? That he’s so accustomed to this one view of his brother it’s difficult to see past the pain of his childhood in autumn? But I think that’s shows anyway in chapter 18 😳😭

Part of me wants to have more scenes where the wound is just split completely open and we get to see all the messy innards of the whole situation, but I don’t think I’m ready for a scene like that? I don’t think I’d be able to write it well?

I’m more of the position that things are sometimes better left to the imagination? Or not being touched on so directly and rather just seeing small traces and hints of it? We’ll see what happens later on in the story though when…stuff happens 😭🫣

I would love this, however I don’t think Elain would tell Lucien? While they’re close, they aren’t official or anything as serious as that? And also I think Elain would know how uncomfortable reader would get with more people knowing about it? But at the same time I agree that Lucien would be good and supporting kind of how Cassian does?

WEEWOO, CC, ACOTAR, AND TOG SPOILERS AHEAD as well as my own lighthearted opinions/ theories on sjm's work<3

ab what the other anon said, i also remember moriel being pretty big. there were a lot of really good theories and fanart at the time and sjm was leaving lil breadcrumbs in interviews that people were excited about if i remember correctly too.

but around that time a lot of authors, directors, etc started getting an increasing amount of backlash about the representation or lack thereof in their work, and sjm was one of them. so i think that influenced the hasty switch in mor :( which unfortunately led to me personally not enjoying it as much. as a queer woman who dates people regardless of gender it just fell really flat to me, which really sucked because i loved mor and i was super invested in her character at the time.

which isnt to say that i dont enjoy these characters, this is still a series i really enjoy reading even if i dont love it as much as tog or cc 😂

and now, about cc hehe, i read somewhere there were supposed to be 4 books, one for each house. And Sjm's confirmed the fourth book but hasnt said whether there will be more or not. Im curious to see what the plan is now that the asteri are dead tho, because i thought they would be the main antagonist of the series so maybe she'll introduce another?

and i totally agree with your criticisms ab cc as well. The lil crossover nuggets we got with aelin being the red comet (headcanon that her court would laugh a lil knowing that she was considered a bad omen in another world lol), the books, etc. But I honestly didn't expect to get a crossover from CC into acotar, i thought it would be more fun for acotar and tog to clash. (let aelin into helion's libraries i BEG of u sjm pls 🙏🙏)

(not to mention the crack theory that maybe maeve is why daemati exist, that maybe millenia ago she or other valg were in prythian?? the powers are described similarly in dorian's povs i cant even lie 😭)

It’s kind of lame if miss Maas did sprinkle in hints for Moriel and then suddenly changed it? Obviously someone will probably have a different stance on this to me, but personally I think if you have an actual story to tell, yes representation would be lovely just because I think if it’s done well it can be such a great way to nourish a story and add depth to it, but if it would conflict with the immersion and detail you already have in your story then I don’t think it’s necessary? I think ultimately I am happy Mor was written to like males and females, but I can understand the frustration if miss Maas was hinting at a pairing and then double back on it that would be so irritating :/

I still haven’t finished CC3 but I have to agree with you because they seemed like such great antagonists??? They actually end up dead?? Okay I might actually finish the book now to find out how because I 100% thought they would be the main villains because, to be fair, they were excellently terrifying 😭 I think miss Maas did do an amazing job on coming up with creatures so obviously more powerful than the fae?

Although now the asteri are dead, it feels like if CC4 does some out it will either be a case of ‘oh, one survived’ or ‘they came back from the dead’ or she’ll just invent a new scare but either of those feels like it would be insincere and not thought out very well? I guess unless Maeve or Erawan somehow got shoved into the CC universe? that might be kind of cool? But I think if that was the case i’d want Maeve or Erawan to win 🫢 just for funsies and chaos 🫢

Oh my gosh yes that crossover would have been so amazing I would have loved to see that! Well, I would have loved to see them getting along with one another—I wouldn’t be able to read a crossover if they were fighting 😭

Oh I’ve seen some stuff about Maeve and the Valg, like how her mind reading powers are described, and I think her eyes were supposed to be kind of similar to Rhys’? To be fair I’d be quite like for that plot line to be explored, it’s doesn’t sound as implausible as some other theories I’ve heard so I think it would be quite cool? Though I don’t know what effect it would have on the story?

now i know peeps don't always get to pick what's early access on tsr so that's not on the creator and i will accept that
