Hey quick question, in next gen au where is jermy?

Oh! Jeremy is basically a single dad in my AU! He’s an accountant who has two daughters who basically find him embarrassing cause he’s that one dad who is really sweet but has no clue when he’s making things awkward. I actually drew his family & I’ll post it to the ask when I can find it on my laptop... T-T

the weight of being unemployed hits different these days

i read more posts from others similar to ma last one

i think we all forgettin that all these characters have their own trauma and mistakes at the same time

nurf is abused and he abused preston

jermy is bullied and unwanted and did shit to his dog

max is neglected and uses people for his advantage

nerris actually has a good home life but they kept discouraging harrison and his dreams

harrison wasnt taken seriously and casted that weird ass spell on max and didnt apologize ((which if i remember correctly happened way before the whole bullying harrison in front of everyone thing

and all the others

that kinda shows the camp isnt a place for innocent little misunderstood babies that need love and attention

its for kids that are fucked in the head whether it be them wanting to hurt and manipulate others or them being hurt and searching for a safe space

what am saying is dont think of these kids like this:

"they had a shitty past yet they are fully innocent and wouldnt hurt others the way they were hurt"

they were hurt and it affected them to the core which makes them very complicated characters

i mean max is the very obvious example here

he tried to kill david multiple times that shit shouldnt be ignored its a 10yo kid tryna kill a 24yo guy just because he is too happy for his liking u see how fucked up that is when you type it out

but theres also the fact that he doesnt like to see his friends or david upset at all and wants everyone to be happy while also doing his best to fuck everything up but also tryna fix everything

not even he knows what he wants the neglect from his parents then the sudden extra attention from david messed him up

theres also the thing with the writing

most stuff in the show are written in a comedic way just so you can have a little laugh then forget about it but when you really think about it you realize that shit is fucked up

cameron said smth like "my father never hugged me and my uncle hugged me too much" or smth like that

see that was just a joke that was put in the episode for like a second then never talked about

and they do the same with every other characters traumatic experience

Alright! So I’ll talk about both the canon woodscouts & the next gen woodscouts! 

So for Pikeman, he goes by Edward now & is kinda the same as he was before except he grew up & doesn’t treat women like shit anymore. He ended up dating Snake in highschool & they got married before he joined the army just cause Snake promised they’d get married before that happening. There, he met a friend of his with a kid named Dustin who was the same age as his son Eric. When Eric was four, Bibi was adopted. Unfortunately, Edward’s army friend passed away when Eric & Dustin were both 14 & he & Snake decided to adopt Dustin as he had no where else to go. He basically is troop master in the woodscouts camp & runs the woodscouts kinda the same as it was before. Snake & Petrol are in second command during those times as sometimes, all of their schedules are ridiculous due to their jobs. 

Snake ended up marrying Edward so child wise backstory is the same. However, he has a sister named Claire who basically gave her baby for her brother & brother in law to foster until she could become a fit enough parent. So that’s where Makayla came from. As for his job, Snake works as a crime investigator where he solves crimes & shit...cause you know...that’s what they do... So he does that & enjoys that aspect of his job. He is home more often as he only goes into work when he’s called in for a crime. 

Petrol got married to a woman who sadly passed away, leaving him to be a single dad to Marcus & Mira who are his son & daughter. He works as a podcast host & still speaks in grunts. He’s a pretty calm dad who still worries for his kids even so. 

Jeremy definitely got more better over the years self confidence wise. He also managed to keep a pretty good job as an accountant & is a single dad to two daughters, Janice & Milly. He’s an awkward dad, as I’ve mentioned before & really tries to have a good & healthy relationship with his daughters. Unfortunately, they both find him to be pretty embarrassing... :’(

Okay so now for the next gen babies & since the post is already long, Imma give a bare bone description of each of them-

So Eric & Dustin are adoptive brothers who consider themselves twins since they’ve known each other since diapers. Eric is more of a leader while Dustin is his right hand man in a lot of things & depending on the situation, it switches. For instance, crushes, bullies, school, etc. They’re basically joint at the hip, however Eric is not Dustin’s best friend as Dustin’s best friend is a pet chicken which gives an interesting dynamic.

Bibi is not technically a woodscout, however, she wears the uniform & stays at the camp with her dads. She does this for two reasons: 

Her parents are overprotective

Her parents dislike Camp Campbell & the flowercouts so sending her to either is gonna be a bad move due to the grudges, invasions, & prank wars going on at the camps.

Bibi is also basically a girly girl but that girly girl stereotype where she will suffocate you with her teddy bear if you mess with her.

Makayla’s an infant who just chills at camp being spoon fed applesauce for breakfast.

Mira is a 17 year old teenage girl who basically dislikes everyone & everything. Especially with her grudge against Eric. She also really likes to blow her whistle loudly to annoy the woodscouts whenever she is around.

Marcus is a 7 year old who is always quiet & pops up to scare others at random times during the day.

Janice is basically a very tough person while Meanwhile, her older sister Milly is very scared of pretty much everything. The two of them go to Camp Campbell although Janice did sneak into the woodscouts the previous summer by pulling a Mulan.

finally, the camp camp kids kids are complete! here’s the last of the kids, and only one of them is the kid of someone from the original cc cast - the other two are purely ocs!

Dolce is a child attending Ornithology / Bird Watching Camp. Her tongue is sharp as steel, and she has zero patience for anyone who makes crude jokes about her binoculars. She has a lot of siblings back home in her home country, and she misses each and every one of them, and has thus taken to treating most of the shorter campers like her own siblings.

Damien is Ered’s adopted son, attending Archery Camp. His parents were originally Flower Scouts, one of them being Ered’s friend, so when they died when he was still rather young, Ered took him under her wing, and he began to think of her as his cool mom. He dyed a lock of hair pink to copy her, and is too cool to be affected by anyone who disses him. He radiates a cool, unaffected aura that has won over quite a few hearts - namely that of a certain theater kid.

Jeremy is a child attending Yoga Camp. Formerly a Woodscout, he joined them to ‘toughen up’ for his parents, only to escape to Camp Campbell after three summers’ worth of trauma, being ‘not manly enough’ to survive the rigorous training. Thanks to that, he’s very jumpy, and hasn’t really slept all that well since then. He’s very soft-spoken, and quick to apologize, and flinches whenever someone raises their hand.

@fiddler-unroofed and i have been making more cc ocs to go with the nerriston kids so they wouldn't be lonely during their stay at camp campbell, so these are two! Jeremy isn't anyone's kid in particular - he's an ex-Woodscout who joined them at first to toughen up but came out traumatized instead Michael, however, is Erin's son. He wanted to be a Flower Scout just like his mom - and had all the skills to speak for it. But they didn't let him in just because he was a boy. Erin, actually slightly pissed about that, sends him to Camp Campbell because she knows it's the closest he'll get to it. He wears his mom's old sash and blouse to pretend he's a Flower Scout.
