what really brings me down with qsmp is that it was supposed to be a 'passion project' and a 'bridge' between two communities but for now it looks like one community doesnt want to listen to the other. the amount of people i saw yesterday saying that 'its not that serious' 'maybe youre the problem' 'well i wasnt offended' instead of trying to understand why people reacting this way was overwhelming. english speaking communities are very often a bunch of people who learned english but are from different cultures (example a. me.) but yesterday it looked like no one wanted to hear that, or any explanation why people are hurt. and idk im just sad? disappointed? because q, for how much he talks he loves both communities, he did nothing to make sure they both are feeling comfortable (I mean he turn off the mod and said it was 'a little offensive'.), he sat and did nothing when his fans were racist, queerphobic and sending gore to others. and i dont know is he going to say something finally or is he going to allow qsmp to be xenophobic parade

I know you used to be a real big Q fan, I hope you’re doing okay with all this awful mess

it’s disheartening and it’s disappointing because he was my favorite cc and i’ve lost any interest in the q smp, which could have been a really cool product, thanks to how he’s dealt with the situation. it makes me sad because his time on the dsmp really inspired my own style of content creation and looking at my own projects now makes me feel weird :’)

at the end of the day, all i can do is be thankful i still have a good number of ccs i still really like, and be glad that dream is surrounded by good ppl who love him :) (and also that this didn’t happen a year earlier because i would NOT have coped)

😭 the lawyer post that’s what I’ve been thinking about like he’s smart he’s talked about getting very high marks all through the like 2-3 years he was in law school idk if he still is or he finished he stopped talking about it but like he’s very smart which is even more annoying to me bc that just mean he most certainly knows what he’s doing and he knew that mod wasn’t great idc what anyone says he at least can understand after it was explained to him so he’s aware that he’s downplayed it to make himself look better

yeah like considering he was able to skip his exams because of how good his grades were then surely he has enough braincells left to come up with something better than 'it was a little offensive' 30 seconds before he ended his stream

I’m glad Wilbur is being real and honest with us about the state of his character and the dream smp as a whole.

It just really speaks to his (actual) character as a person that he’s not dragging it on with empty promises like other ccs
