Hi, I am writing you about your Chinese Restaurant set. The change tray item does not show up properly but it has violet shades and rainbow "?" all over it. Could you please have a look when you can? Thanks in advance! ^_^

In this case, the image was supposed to be 256 x 256, but it was 256 x 252 for some reason. The objects end up looking like this:

So if you ever run into this issue, that is the cause and is easily fixed!

hello! first of all, your cc is beautiful *heart eyes* but when i tried downloading your gorgeous palstapolku parquet flooring, it said the file was corrupt and wouldn't start the game :/ any suggestions??

Hello! I’m not sure if you’re aware but I get the glitch of loose teeth causing my sims to become a void and look completely different with your teeth sets!

Hi nonny! The only way for this to happen is if you have:

Outdated teeth defaults (the old EA Teeth Begone set from pyxidiis is outdated and WILL cause the bug, icecreamforbreakfast's default set is updated since growing together however, make sure you have the latest file from them!)

Outdated child teeth (my growing pains set is the only child set i have, make sure you're updated to the latest files i have posted to cf or patreon)

Possibly other outdated teeth sets from other creators, especially any for children

An old save file that has the child sim from before the bug was patched out, that possibly still has the old version of the buff EA removed, I've heard that it can linger even after all files are updated. But if it happened recently, I don't think this would be it.

No other teeth set from me besides the outdated pre-growing together version of the growing pains set is possible to cause the glitch. It is impossible considering how the teeth are made (cloned directly from EA's, just with a different mesh and texture) and how the bug worked (a buff placed on your sim). Pretty much everyone I've experienced with this problem had the pyxidiis defaults so check if you have those first! Hope this helps :)

ok while making new packages, I'm taking the opportunity to totally revamp the growing pains teeth set and also work on new teeth defaults :D i'm hoping to integrate the kids teeth with growing together so that when they lose teeth they can gain my crooked versions that match their old teeth appropriately (for example, a kid with ea buck teeth could gain my Cass teeth after which is a buckier set with one tooth missing)! I'm really excited for this qjsjsk and I may make some brand new teeth to go with the new version!!

in the meantime however, I would suggest yall remove all cc teeth that affect kids (including pyxis & icfb child defaults) if you have growing together pack as those can trigger the bug as well. all other teeth for ages besides kids seem to be safe. It's not a guarantee that the new packages will fix this as I'm not sure what ea did the last few patches to not only cause but "fix" it (aka slap a bandaid over it), but hopefully this will work 🙏

My sims also turn pitch black with your teeth.

I know you've already said it's an EA problem, but they fixed the teeth with the last patch and when I remove the teeth from my mods folder it works fine :/

hey nonny, there's only one more thing I can think of that could possibly be causing this, and even then I'm not entirely sure if it's actually a thing? But it's possible they didn't remove the corrupted bug completely and just did some kind of workaround to the teeth themselves, so mine (cloned from pre-patch teeth) are still triggering whatever weirdness they left in game? I don't know enough about tuning/scripting to know if that's even possible but it's the only thing I can think of. I'm going to try to make new package files again that are cloned from EA's teeth post patch and see if that makes any sort of difference. But if it doesn't, I can't think of anything else and may just retire them completely 😔 also, I still haven't been able to update, so it's going to be a few days until I can make the packages, and there's like 50+ of them to do. Then I'm gonna do a bunch of testing. I'll try to get the new files out in about a week or so if there's any noticeable improvement with them 🙏

In the meantime, if anyone could let me know if they're having the bug without my teeth (like just with ea teeth or other people's teeth, or even if they're on console) I would be curious to know. I'm so tired of this bug, can EA just do anything right for once 😡

Are you going to update the teeth to work with the new update? My child sim turns completely pitch black whenever they loose a tooth right now and I have only your teeth downloaded.

hi, this is an ea bug, there's nothing for me to update. please check out the links below carefully! The last one is probably your issue if you're updated to the latest patch, but the rest provide more context about what EA messed up with children's teeth.

ok after working tirelessly yesterday I finally have the child teeth almost ready 🤞 Still just doing lots of testing to make sure there's no issues and EA's bug is finally put in the graveyard lol. If anyone else wants to test, I still have an example file up in my post from yesterday. Any feedback (even just saying "it worked fine for me") is highly appreciated!

I will reblog the post after the new files are uploaded. but just another reminder, remove your default teeth if you're using pyxis' because they will definitely cause the bug, and also remove that mod that was made to fix this issue a couple patches ago since it's obsolete now (and can cause squashed face bug).
