Sims created by me for bachelorette challenges etc.
Ugh, it feels so good to be back here, though I'll admit I'm not used to humidity anymore (Chestnut Ridge is dry most of the time). Boy, does it feel good to feel that jungle air on my skin!
I think you know by now how we go about things here. We get to work right away, with the help of little Silvie, of course!
Fernie helps out too by taking on the smaller excavation sites. She finds a nice little fossil. She's a pro archaeologist already!
Later on Fernie and I spend time splashing around in the pool.
"Daddy, we're here 'cause it's Silvia's first time in Selvadorada, right?" Fernie asks.
"That's right!" I say.
"Well... Silvia's a baby. She won't remember. Why would you and Momma take her here if she isn't gonna remember?"
"We took you here when you were a baby," I say, "Whether you remembered didn't matter. We had a blast! You "helped" us excavate artifacts... You danced with us... It was awesome! We wanna have fun with Silvia too, even though she won't remember. The three of us will remember it, though, and when Silvia's older, we'll tell her all about her first time in Selvadorada, just like we did with you! Does that make sense?"
"Alright, why don't you give yourself a look in the mirror?" Vittorio suggested as he covered Jane's eyes to keep a little mystery in the air.
"I know I'm wearing like, your great aunt's dress but I swear to watcher if I look anything like a grandma you're gonna have it!"
"I can assure you, you look nothing like a grandma" he laughed softly, prompting her to take a look.
And as she opened her eyes, she could tell he was right. She looked magnificent in the low light. -Or that's what he had implied at least, right?
And she was alone in the mirror.
"Wow, you really are a vampire!"
"You had doubts about that?"
"Well, there's nothing wrong with a healthy dose of scepticism.."
"But what you see in the mirror pleases you, I hope?"
Jane tried on another dress, pleasantly surprised that there actually were more than one frock that fitted her.
"Your relatives had good taste. Not that I remember what kind of style I liked, but... this don't look half bad"
"It looks anything but bad. Quite the opposite in fact, if I may say so..."
Vittorio's voice had an appealing tone to it, which Jane found very intriguing. And his fingers, buttoning her dress sent some nice shivers down her spine as well.
"So, who did all these dresses belong to?"
"Mostly to relatives of mine, now long passed"
"So they weren't all vampires?"
"No. My father is the first vampire in my line"
Jane grew silent.
"What's your family name?"
"Vatore. Why do you ask?"
"I don't know... Somehow I wanted to know whose clothes I'm honoring or something"
"Well, that is a lovely sentiment, Miss Marple"
"Shut up"
The attic was someplace Jane hadn't yet been to. It was filled with fascinating things and trinkets from different decades, but all she could really think was...

hi there, i'm sym and i'm a story-teller simblr! i've been working on a fantasy story behind the scenes for the better part of the past two months called convergence. you might've seen some [now deleted] sneak peaks!
why am i telling you this? well, i'm in dire need of background characters, characters with minor dialogue, and reoccurring support characters. i realized if i made my main cast [ 15 ] and all of their families/loved ones/friends AND all of the guards/traders/tavern drunks/etc. well, you might just never see convergence!
the tldr for convergence;
- pseudo-medieval period, technology differs due to magic.
- takes place on a continent known as thaos drine, landscape and climate is extremely varied across thaos drine.
- the political climate is...tense.
- magic users are known as Anima [ positive ] or Exorci [ negative ]. they're broken into smaller categories like; faith, nature, elemental, necromantic, etc.
- if you go, "i wonder if this fantasy race/occult exists-" the answer is yes.
if you got to the end of that and decided, gee i'd love to make an oc/sim for convergence, there's more info for you beneath the cut <3

"Well, it's one of the only things that fit me. Whoever owns the rest of the rags in the wardrobes seems to have been a size or three smaller than me, I fear"

He took a bold step closer.
"There are more 'rags' in the attic. A wider collection with surely something that would fit a woman of your caliber"

does anyone know if there's a cc for that? i don't know exactly what it's called; i've heard some people call it a litle mouth bag and others call it hollow cheeks. i've always wanted to find something like this, but i never have. if i can't find it, i'll try to make it myself
Hey guys, it's that time again. It's the end of the month and my dad and I are out of food. The food bank that's local only gives a box of food once a month, and they've been getting so many people needing food, the supplies were super limited and we already went through it. If anyone can send a little something so my dad and I can get some food. I would really appreciate it.
I haven't recieved any help, I get my food stamps tomorrow, but dad and I haven't eaten anything besides crackers for the past week. If anyone can spare something so we can have a good meal I would really appreciate it.
