This week’s Disney hotel is the Disney Hotel Santa Fe in Disneyland Paris. Although the hotel's architecture is clearly reminiscent of New Mexico, the theme is unmistakably the Cars movie. References to the movie can be found throughout the resort. Inspired by the main character of the movie, Lightning McQueen, I decided to create a look based on his design.
I knew I had to start with something red, and this red jumpsuit seemed perfect since it's close to McQueen's signature red color. The fact that it's a jumpsuit is also a nod to the jumpsuits worn by real race car drivers.
For the shoes, I went with black to represent the wheels, and these McQueen boots felt like they were made for this outfit. After all, the designer's last name matches the character's, and the reptilian effect on the leather is a perfect nod to all the reptiles found in New Mexico.
The handbag was chosen because its color matches the details on Lightning McQueen, and its overall style complements the Santa Fe look of the resort. The headband/hair tie has a racing flag pattern that fits well with the Cars theme.
Finally, the pièce de résistance: the lightning bolt earrings. They reference both the design found on Lightning McQueen and his first name. These earrings make for the perfect little detail to complete the outfit.

Today’s random outfit is based around the watch, which got 50% of the votes.
Now, creating an outfit based on a watch is not easy as watches are practical items that usually go with everything, this watch being no exception. So, as I stared at it, trying to figure out what kind of outfit I would do with it, I started to hum the theme of Alice in Wonderland (the animated movie, not the Tim Burton one). This made me think of a certain white rabbit who is always afraid to be late. So, now I had the idea, but I needed to figure out how to make that look.
When we first see him in the movie, he’s sporting a yellow shirt, grey trousers, as well as a red jacket and a purple bowtie. So, I went for a yellow top and a grey skirt. I felt a jacket would have been too much for this outfit, especially considering the material of the top. I instead went for a red clutch in the shape of a heart, as the White Rabbit works for the Queen of Hearts. The necklace references the neck ruffle he wears with his uniform. As for the white sneakers, well, it is a white rabbit always in a hurry. Finally, the white bow is a wink to his rabbit ears.
I’m sure if the White Rabbit had a Rolex, he wouldn’t be so late all the time.

Today’s theme for Colour Me Park Hopper is “Favourite Snack”. Now, my favourite snack is Mickey’s Ice Cream Bar, but I already did an outfit based on that sweet icy treat for Color Me Valentine. So I should have picked another snack I like, right?
Well, the life of a picky eater is not as simple. Mickey’s Ice Cream Bar is my go-to snack, and while I also like popcorn, it doesn’t come close to my ice cream bar, not to mention I can get popcorn anywhere, while Mickey’s Ice Cream Bar is a treat I can only get when in the American parks. It’s not available in grocery store’s here...
All this to say, I had to create another Mickey’s Ice Cream Bar outfit. This time though, I decided to inspire myself of the colours of the treat itself, not of the packaging. So brown and white it is, with a bit of flesh tone for the popsicle stick.
I opted for a white top with a brown skirt, because after biting into that delectable treat, the vanilla ice cream can drizzle on top of the chocolate coating, and sometimes, you have to bite off a piece of chocolate, leaving part of the vanilla ice cream exposed. The brown handbag is basically just to go with the colour scheme. The headband and necklace need no explanation.
Now, the flats. As I said earlier, I’m aiming for a bit of flesh tone to represent the popsicle stick. Your legs become in a way the popsicle stick, so wearing flats or sandals that match your skin tone kinda fits the idea. I went for beige flats because I’m white, but any other colour that matches your skin tone will be perfect for the illusion I’m going for: the outfit (minus the shoes) represents the sweet vanilla ice cream covered in chocolate, while your legs are the stick for people to hold it.
The theme for today’s IG challenge is Squad Goals, so I decided to create an HPHM outfit, which is mostly a Hogwarts uniform with two accessories that represent my two favourite characters in the game. The squad in Hogwarts Mystery is great and pretty diverse, but it’s not just the squad in-game that is great, but also the people in the fandom. So this set represents two squad goals.

Today’s theme for the IG challenge is New Fave, so I decided to make an outfit inspired by the “new” game everyone is playing: Among Us. That’s why I went for a monochrome look. While to colour I usually choose in the game is blue, I didn’t have enough blue stuff to make a blue outfit, so I went for red, a colour that kinda screams sus. Especially if you are in high heels and suppose to run around doing tasks.
Today’s random item is the Opening Ceremony sneakers. As they have a bit of a grandma feel to them, I decided to pair them with more youthful element. That youthful vibe is at its peak in the light purple polka dot dress. The animal print bag adds some cool along with the sunglasses, and the tiny earrings add the bling while keeping with the youthful feel of the outfit.
