“Oh, a guild exchange program with Sabertooth? That’s awesome! I can’t wait to meet Sting again, maybe we can go a round too!” Natsu grinned at the news, soon hearing footsteps behind him then turned to catch a stern look.
“You’re not going Natsu, I am. This is an official job from the Magic Council for us to improve relations with other guilds, you’re not jeopardising that.” Kaito told him firmly, Natsu was the last person who should be going on a job like this.
“Kaito, that’s not fair! I should get to go ‘cause I beat him up before! It’s my right!” Natsu protested, his right fist now on fire, in case he had to fight to prove his point. He didn’t get a response. “Hey, stop ignoring me!” He growled, then his jaw dropped at Kaito turning into ice before him.
“Natsu, Kaito already left with Shiro with the map to the guild.” Happy told him, shoving a expensive looking fish in his mouth. He was bribed not to tell him until it was too late.
“Argh! He tricked me! That cold bastard, I’ll get him back for this!” Natsu yelled as he flailed and stomped about in frustration.
Above the clouds, Kaito flew towards the headquarters of Sabertooth, carried by his white skinned Exceed partner Shiro. “Kaito, are you sure you don’t want me to stay with you?” He asked him for the third time.
“Shiro, like I told you before, you’re in the same boat as Natsu on this one. I can do this alone. Don’t make me send you to Master Bob’s again, I won’t hesitate.” Kaito replied cooly. There was no way he was letting him ruin things today, there was no time for games either. Soon he was dropped in front of the entrance, and then he promptly knocked on the front door, loud but politely.
“Get going Shiro, before someone comes out to greet me.” Kaito told his Exceed partner before he flew off and away. The Ice Dragon Slayer’s attire was his usual black leather theme, a high collared sleeveless shirt, pants, boots, save a silver belt and white cloak over. He pushed his blacked framed glasses back a little, light blue hues looking sharper before he moved a hand through his silver hair, making sure it was too messy. This was his first meeting after all, he wanted to impress.
