Grand Magic Games AU [KaiVi]

Announcer: Unfortunately, Natsu and Gajeel won’t be able to make it to this fight against Sting and Rogue. Gajeel is still in recovery from his fight against Raven Tail, and Natsu has been banned from participation for starting a fight in another guild’s living quarters!

(cc) Natsu: Sabertooth started it ya bald bastard!

Announcer: But do not worry, we still have two Dragon Slayers from Fairy Tail to fight them! Everyone’s favourite couple, the Dragon Lovers themselves… Kaito and Vivienne!

(FT) Kaito: F-Favourite couple? When was there a poll for that? And ‘Dragon Lovers’, really? Were we being too affectionate in public? -starting to panic and overthink things-

(Exceed) Shiro: Get them Kaito and Vivienne! **** those ************** up and ***** their ***** in their ******** then **** their **** until their ***** are ****!!!!!

Announcer: Ahem, I am terribly sorry for those beeps, we had to censor most of those words out, there are children in the crowd after all.

(FT) Kaito: -facepalms- Urgh, why did they even let him be a guest on the panel, for Mavis’ sake…

(cc) Rogue: I am glad Frosh was not able to hear any of that.

(cc) Sting: I know, right? Poor guy if he did...

Kaito & Rogue [Headcanons] - Part 1

(my) Rogue heard rumours that Kaito defeated Gajeel back when he was still in Phantom Lord, it was actually Natsu (like in canon but Shiro the Exceed thought it was funny to spread the rumour at the time

in most of Kaito’s verses during the Grand Magic Games, Gajeel is ambushed by Raven Tail, leaving Kaito to take his place for the Sting & Rogue battle.

On the final day of the Grand Magic Games, Kaito fights Rogue who later gets consumed by Shadow Dragon Force. Seeing his old self in Rogue, Kaito tries to break him out of  without using force. As a last resort after exhausting his options, Kaito uses his Blizzard Dragon Mode to finish the fight as quickly as possible, though it leave Kaito drained for when he confronts Sting with the rest of hte Fairy Tail team.

for Kaito’s main verse with Vivienne @crystaldragonslayer, there are many parallels drawn from Future Rogue for Future Kaito, who went mad from grief after Gray kills Vivienne who was protecting him. Future Kaito even controls a knocked out Rufuts to try and kill Gray for him too, but is stopped with the arrival of present Kaito & Vivienne to protect Gray..

in Kaito’s Sabertooth verse, Kaito & Rogue serve as Sting’s right hand men and assistants once he becomes master. especially when he gets overwhelmed by paperwork, also supporting Sting when he was fighting Larcade. All three are Third Generation Dragon Slayers, so often train/spar together as well, and worked together to save and bring Minerva back home from Tartaros.

(cc) Sting: That’s not fair, Kaito-san! You and Shiro went on ahead once we caught Lady Minerva’s scent! We were blown back!

(cc) Rogue: Frosh was so scared, he almost dropped me...
