I realise I reblogged a gifset of this exact situation recently, but I feel it bears repeating. I made a gif of the oopsie and Jensenâs reaction to what happened. Of course I had to make the look slow-motion for added effect.
The interviewer asks them both what they need to get through the award show season. They name suits, peppermints and then this happens. Jensen slips a look at Jared, realises his mistake and looks for Danneel behind him, mortified! This is where the gif cuts off. The interviewer points at Jared and says âYou have a beautiful date right here!â and lauhgs at the same time as Jared says he doesnât have a date. Jensen spots Danneel and goes âWoohoo!â
This is one the most uncomfortable things Iâve seen in my tinhatting days and also one of the most telling. Essentially, itâs just a short look, but Jensenâs panic tells a story. I guess we can all tell who his idea of a beautiful date is.
He couldâve made it into a joke, but sometimes one just panics. Weâre all human. Watch the interview here.
