I am also interested to hear about the People polarmare met.
I'm so glad you are interested!
Polarmare, during her time as an international hero, has been all over the world. During her assignments, she met different people who helped shaped her into who she was now.
Introducing Queen X
You might recgonize this lovely lady from the Two Heroes movie who I have decided to adopt. Apparently Horikoshi was kind enough to give her a name and a quirk, but I find it bullshit so I'm going to revamp her quirk.
Her original name was X, and her quirk was X-Ray.
I decided to call her Queen X, and her quirk has been changed to Queen Bee. I won't explain the quirk since there are a lot of different parts to it, so it would be a pain to.
She is stationed in America and a model as well has a superhero. She's the reason Polarmare ever became interested in the Management side of things due to Polarmare questioning why Queen X would even model.
Introducing Swamp Fox
Swamp Fox is a Russian Vigilante who Polarmare ran into during her years in Russia. Swamp Fox was exposing corruption in the government, and due to a slip up on a mission Swamp Fox was caught by Polarmare.
Lucky for him, Polarmare has always been more lenient with vigilantes and villains so Swamp Fox was free to go. Viewing Polarmare as an ally, Swamp Fox would crash in her apartment from time to time and they because unofficial roommates.
Swamp Fox is actually quirkless, and is just majorly trained in aerobatics and martial arts along with having access to good gadgets.
So if Midoriya ever asks if Polarmare thinks a quirkless person can be a hero, she'd say yes.
Swamp Fox parted onto Polarmare the importance of quirkless fighting and gadgets, and introduced her to letting go of biases she didn't know she had towards quirks and quirkless.
Introducing Frost Hunter
Frost Hunter is a female Russian Fortification Hero who spends most of her time in the nature tracking down hiding villains and operations.
(OP Note: Fortification Hero is my new term for my interpretation of Support Heroes)
Frost Hunter was actually the one sent to track down Swamp Fox, and found the trail lead back to Polarmare's apartment. Frost Hunter was surprised by this as she thought and International Hero would be more firm with terms, but upon meeting Swamp Fox and listening to Polarmare's explanation she decided to help them instead.
Eventually, Swamp Fox and Frost Hunter became romantically inclined and bought a cottage in the woods where they live with a hoard of dogs Swamp Fox rescued one day.
Frost Hunter has the ability to cover things in ice, which causes her to shoot arrows that cover their targets with ice.
Frost Hunter imparted on Polarmare throwing weapon skills, and the notion you can still have a family in hero work it just won't look nuclear.
Introducing MariUrsa
Polarmare was assigned to a station in the Antarctic where she was under the leadership of MariUrsa. The two quickly bonded over their hero names (just being different ways of saying Polar Bear), and MariUrsa ended up sparking her desire to teach. MariUrsa became Polarmare's ideal of what a teacher should be that she modeled her teaching style off of.
MariUrsa is actually Hound Dog's uncle, and both Hound Dog and Polarmare share a deep admiration for him.
You've probably figured it out, but MariUrsa's quirk is basically just Hound Dog's except a Polar Bear instead.
=====
That's it for now as I am still working out all my ocs, but these are the four that made the biggest impact on Polarmare.
