This one that I made up, for my conlang, Standard American Carglish, that I'm making for Cursed Conlang Circus 4.
Technically it's two words, "road-shaped beast," but the more correct translation is "serpent." It is pronounced SlowWipeLeftSignal HonkSlowWipeFlashers RevSlowWipe RevFastWipeHeadlights RevWetWipeRightSignal SlowWipeRightSignal RevLeftSignal.
It’s finally done!!! This is my submission for the Cursed Conlang Circus—a cursed musical conlang, which now has a name: Amnenas!
I have been working on this video for what feels like 42 years but is probably not actually. The language itself you may have seen snippets of here and here, but now there’s a more complete explanation and a longish translation to listen to!
There’s still a LOT of information I had to skip over because I didn’t want to make a half-hour music theory lecture with a bit of conlanging at the end. There were many, many discarded versions of the script. Maybe I’ll do a followup video at some point to fill in some of those gaps; there will definitely be some more posts about it, too.
The video itself ended up being way more complicated than I expected, which is why I only finished it like two hours before the deadline! It was a stressful last few days.
Anyway you can tell I’m tired because I don’t usually ramble like this on tumblr but please check out the video, and once CCC4 voting starts, I’d appreciate your vote!

Oh by the way I finished my CCC4 submission! It took ages to make, and the translation was miserable to record, but I had a ton of fun designing this horrible language :) Give it a watch if you feel like it!

I made this for Agma Schwa's (fourth) Cursed Conlang Circus. This is the version on Dailymotion (for all the people who aren't really interested in supporting Youtube right now); I do have a version that will be on youtube (as per contest rules), which will be published Sunday Morning due to "I'd rather not let my friends know I published this without them".
