Hello, as for the question of the fic where K and P are in the meadow and then go to tell haymitch that she's pregnant, and he insults her, that sounds almost exactly like what happens in chapters 5 and 6 of New Beginnings by CriminalMindsChick6!
Thank you so much! It’s been added here :)
Hello, I was just wondering if you know of any other paramedic Peeta or Katniss? I just read A Wrong Day's Journey Into Right and fell in love with paramedic Peeta! Thanks!
Hi there! The only paramedic!Peeta story we could find is the aforementioned Wrong Day’s Journey into Right. If anyone knows any others, please drop us a line!
Hello! Thanks for adding Lean on Me to the other ED list! It would also fit in the master list: trope: best friends category too! Thanks!!
Hi there! You’re so welcome! We’ve just added Lean on Me here :)
Hello! I know it's been a while and I'm very sorry for that! I was actually thinking about you and your stories last night and I planned to message you soon but I just saw your post and the tags and I'm so sorry about Juice!! :'( my heart breaks for you as I've had to put two of my own fur babies down in the last 16 months due to health problems and old age. If you need to talk I'm here!!! As for why it's been so long since I've messaged you, I haven't been reading at all lately which is so not
Like me at all! So I apologize for my disappearance for the fanfic world! I fully intend to go back and read your new works especially Fated to Love! My friend has told me so many good things about it! It's just been a very difficult 7 to 8 months and I haven't been myself lately at all! *BIG HUGS to you and Juice*
Thanks for checking in on me, darling, and I’m so sorry to hear about your own fur babies. Pets are really parts of our family. I’m just trying to tell myself that this happens because Juice is getting older (he’s 13) but the deterioration had been so quick…oh gosh, I’m going to cry again…
Anyway, I hope you enjoy when you get to reading FTL or any of my fics–but no need to rush. And, if you need me then you know where to find me as well. Hugs, my dear.

My first encounter with The Hunger Games trilogy didn’t really happen until March 28th, 2012, days after the first movie hit the theaters. I was still trying to get over the fact that there would be no more movies or books released in the Harry Potter series; I guess you could say that I was still a grieving HP fanatic.
Over the months leading up to that March, a few friends had recommended that I check out the Hunger Games trilogy but for some reason I kept shrugging it off. It wasn’t until the evening of the 28th that I grabbed a paperback copy of the first book on a whim. I finally decided that I wanted to “find out for myself what this hype is all about.” (to quote a post I made on Facebook that day)
Well, needless to say, my entrance into this fandom was sparked that night and it is burning stronger now than ever. I began reading it that night and I couldn’t put it down. After work the next day I went back to Wal-Mart and picked up my very first copies of Catching Fire and Mockingjay. Five and a half days after I read the first lines of The Hunger Games I was finished with the entire trilogy.
As I read through the roughly 1200 pages of Suzanne Collins’ brilliant works I was drawn in through not only the mind of her brilliant protagonist Katniss, but also many of the other characters as well. There wasn’t just one character that I felt connected to, there were so many of them. Katniss. Peeta. Johanna. Annie. Rue. I could go on.
The day I bought THG was a Wednesday night and by that Saturday afternoon I was at the theater watching the movie for the first time. I was already through the first book and a third of the way through Catching Fire by the time I watched the movie.
Over the next couple of weeks I watched the movie 3 more times in the theaters and ready the entire trilogy again (I’ve now read the entire trilogy 13 times). I WAS HOOKED! I was quickly sucked into the fandom through Twitter and found myself browsing my Twitter feed multiple times a day, every day after that.
As much of a HP and HG fan as I had been for over ten years I had never heard of fanfiction before the early morning hours of September 1st, 2013. I was going through a lot of difficult stuff with my family at the time and I was having a hard time sleeping. I woke up in the middle of the night and I could not fall back to sleep. I pulled my phone out and as I lie in bed I began scrolling through my twitter feed. Something about a tweet about a post Mockingjay fanfiction struck my attention and I clicked on it. I had no idea what that click at 4 in the morning had started. I began reading and couldn’t stop. The night drew on and the sun finally crept over the horizon.
That morning I made my very own FFN account and within days I had discovered that this was not a one time thing. There was a whole world of fanfiction out there. The writer whose work I discovered that night and I began messaging on Twitter over the next few months and then later that fall she asked me a question that would change my life in so many ways.
She asked me if I had ever considered writing my own fanfiction. My initial answer was something along the lines of "No way! I can’t write like that! I have no experience!“ However as the weeks went on an idea popped into my head for a modern AU Hunger Games fanfiction and it just kept growing and growing until one night (January 1st, 2014) I decided to turn my thoughts into an actual fic. I began writing about 7pm that night, and what I thought would be no more than 5 or 6 chapters turned into a completed 18 chapter fic, “Whatever Happens Here," by Christmas night of that same year.
The Hunger Games changed my world in so many ways, but I can’t think of one way that wasn’t for the better. I’ve been drawn into a world I didn’t know existed and I’ve met so many amazing people on here (Tumblr) because of it. This world within my world has helped me battle my way through mental health issues, family problems and just things that come up in everyday life and for that I am so thankful to all of you who are in this fandom with me!
Probably the biggest blessing of all is that I met not only a best friend, but someone who is just as much a sister to me as my own flesh and blood. If it wasn’t for THG and this fandom we never would have met. She has been there for me since the day we met and I have been there for her. Along with many of you, she has been there day in and day out, and has helped my to realize and remember that life can be good again, no matter how bad our losses! Thank You all! From the bottom of my heart, Thank You!

I think it's probably Mockingjay's baby. That's what happens in that one. Katniss hasn't gone into labor yet in You're Going to Be so Happy. She isn't that far along in her pregnancy yet!
You’re probably right! Thank you!
