Whew, time to dust the rust off this old blog. Hi there! I had a question and a reservation. Firstly, are the names specifically set to the given ones, or can they be another default name? Or, even a custom name? And secondly, I'd like to reserve Moon/Selene if she's available!
Good evening! Thank you so much for your interest in our group. I’ll be happy to answer any and all questions that you may have. All the names of characters who are on our Masterlist are set, meaning that they cannot be changed. I must make an amendment to our Masterlist, however.
Due to how new Pokemon: Sun & Moon were to the franchise, and to the fact that Alola’s character roster at the Park was opened a few weeks afterwards, the protagonist names were not set in stone canonically. At the time of the Alolan protagonist’s name’s choosing, I had gone off of an official photograph of a Battle Royale that included characters whose names were Sun, Elios, Moon, and Selene. I had assumed that those were the character’s names–a belief that I no longer hold.
Both Bulbapedia and the new Pokemon Adventures manga have stated these characters’ names as being Sun and Moon. Because of these new facts, I have changed the names on the Masterlist. The Alolan protagonists’ names (male and female) are now Sun and Moon, respectively.
Since Moon is available, you are more than welcome to reserve her, my friend. I’d say I’m over the moon to meet her acquaintance, and that she shines bright like a diamond even though the moon reflects the sun’s light. I think she should take the Park by storm by April 4th, don’t you think?
