The weekend had been more hectic that Theodora has anticipated what with all the food and people and fireworks, she was honestly surprised she had woken up at all today. Though it might have had something to do with how loud her new barrack mates were. But despite all that she had done over the week and all the people she had seen, Theo hadn’t managed to bump into one person in particular. Which was strange given they’d always managed to see each other for at least a few minutes every other 4th of July. She was running late – not a surprise, it was a common occurrence – and hoping that Colin wasn’t already waiting at the coffee shop, the bell above the door gave a light ring as she pushed it open, her eyes scanning the room for her friend.
