Tell me about your first kiss. I had a boyfriend in 1st grade that kissed me on valentines day after a gave him a bag of candy. It was adorable.

Worst grade school memory? I got really sick in 4th grade but we had a sub who didn't know what to do so she made me lay under her desk until my parents got there and I got really claustrophobic and thought I was going to die.

Favorite dessert. *Overused answer alert* Anything with chocolate in it. Especially dark chocolate from Holland.

Describe your favorite pair of shoes. They're  cream colored open-toed heels with a sort of cork board material around the heel part and a sort of snake skin type of material around the toe. It doesn't really sound stylish but they're very cute.

Do you sleep with the door open or closed? Closed. 

Do you wear glasses? No. I used to, though.

What is your worst fear? Mostly failure. Not in a perfectionist (though i am a perfectionist) sort of way, but in a sort of "what-if-my-dreams-never-come-true-and-i-never-achieve-my-goals-and-I-do-nothing-with-my-life-and-nobody-ever-loves-me" sort of way.

1: What’s one fandom you absolutely cannot stand seeing on your dash, or even just in general? That would be Doctor Who. I've got a butt-ton of stuff blacklisted, but the one I just don't want to hear about is DW. (I haven't decided on Sherlock yet) 2: Pick an instrumental song that you think fits you best. Oooh, I love instrumentals. This is tough because there's a lot of great choices here. I'm utterly in love with the Castlevania: Lords of Shadow soundtrack, and a number of other things (fun fact: I have over 24 hours worth of just soundtracks in one of my playlists, and that's not including Samurai Champloo at all!), buuuuuuuut I think I'd be most likely to pick Silver Morning by Nujabes. God that violin...

3: Any addictions? No. I only drink socially (although I drink a LOT about half of the time when I do); I don't smoke; I don't do any drugs. The closest thing to a vice I have is ice cream, because...c'mon, it's ice cream jfc. I guess you could say I'm addicted to conflict? Without disagreements, life would be very boring, indeed.

4: Is there any game or series or what-have-you that you thought you wouldn’t like but turned out to love? This is the perfect question for me! The truth of the matter is that my absolute favorite game (series?) is Mass Effect...a game which, from the beginning, I didn't give a damn about. I'd gone over to my friend's place one day and I saw what, it turns out, was Virmire and the showdown with Wrex. Later (another visit), he was playing Eden Prime. Both times I was utterly unimpressed and just could not care less. However, I didn't remember the game's name, so it was no great loss.

Many moons later, I bought Mass Effect 2, which had recently come out, both to make my friends shut the fuck up about my taste in games (because sometimes they can be real dicks when I don't agree with them), and because it was all they were talking about at the time. I played it and couldn't get into it. Didn't like it. They claimed I "hadn't played it long enough" (which I'd put about five hours into, btw). But I just stopped playing because it was boring and uninteresting, in large part because STUFF HAPPENED that I didn't understand. Saren? Sovereign? The fuck?

But around that time, Dragon Age had come out with its ultimate edition, and I'd been wanting to give that a spin for ages. So I bought it and fell in love instantly and played it constantly for well over a month. But what was starting to fuck with me was that it wasn't that different from Mass Effect; sure, the setting obviously was, but party interaction? You're still recruiting a bunch of bloodthirsty lunatics to follow you around; you're still laughing at things they say; you're still making very big, very real choices that will affect your game world. And, naturally, I fell in love with the characters.

So then I said you know what? Fine. I'll give Mass Effect another shot, but only on my own terms. I bought ME1 and played it and it was like a fucking revelation to me. I played that game up, down, left, right, sideways, upside-down and inside-out for a long time, and went back to ME2 again with a fresh perspective and I've never looked back.

Mass Effect, yo. Mass Effect. I never thought I'd care, and now look at me, hopelessly in love with a quarian cutie who makes me all squirmy inside because she's so adorable.

5: If you could have any two characters from any show/book/game/whatever be your parents, who would you pick and why? Well, in truth, I am Harry Potter. But I'd prefer to be the son of, say...Olenna Tyrell and Otori Shigeru. Or Maybe Odysseus and Luna Lovegood. Or Hermione Granger and Tyrion Lannister. idk pick one hell if that shit is genetic make Spider-man my father so I can do the things

  6: Are you part of a fandom that isn’t ridiculously popular? What is it? Uhhhhh probably? There's lots of things I like that aren't terribly popular. But for the sake of the question, I'll go with probably my favorite manga series - Samurai Deeper Kyo (SDK). For the love of all that's holy DO NOT WATCH THE ANIME I REPEAT DO NOT WATCH THE ANIME. But the manga is absolutely fantastic and it really speaks to me on a lot of levels, up to and including my desire to go on a big journey to save the world from the bad guys while finding both myself and true love, all while being using a/multiple sword(s)/spear/my fists/etc to beat the crap out of anyone who would hurt me or my friends.

7: What kind of SCIENCE most appeals to you? And yes, SCIENCE is always capitalized. Because SCIENCE. (It would make more sense if you could hear how I would say those sentences) SCIENCE! *glasses shine*

Real world science? Probably astronomy. Fuck me, but I do love space. Fake-as-far-as-we-know-it science? Superhumans. Super soldiers, mutants, metahumans, whatever you want to call them. I LOVE THAT STUFF. god what I wouldn't give to be a destrillian or Spider-man or a wizard or an alchemist jfc

8: What’s an immensely popular thing you cannot stand? Ugh how much time do you have? For the sake of brevity, I'll go with Assassin's Creed. Definitely not my thing; I've not played them myself (beyond a few hours of AC1 which I loathed), but I've watched my friend (the same one from above with Mass Effect!) play hours upon hours of AC2/Brotherhood/Revelations when I've gone over to hang out and just bluh it's not my thing. Yes, I love exploring and climbing and stuff; yes, I love stealth and assassinations. But what I don't love is the very GTA-without-a-car feel the gameplay gives me, and what drives me crazy is how motherfucker can be like a thousand feet in the air and jump off of whatever colossally tall edifice he's climbed up and LAND IN A FUCKING PILE OF HAY AND BE JUST FINE THAT WOULD SHATTER EVERY BONE IN YOUR BODY AT THE VERY LEAST adihsidhsjkdfsdjfhddhdfl sorry that just drives me nuts.

Anyway, I made a bargain with one of my friends - he plays Dragon Age Origins all the way through (he quit at The Fade before), and I'll play AC2. Well, he's in Orzammar right now, so it's almost time for me to pony up. Guess we'll see what happens, eh?

9: What popular ship do you despise? How about this? Ship(s). I'm gonna piss off about half of my followers now, ahaha.

Mass Effect: Shenko. Absolute least favorite ship in a thing (except maybe Harry and Ginny, ugh). Also, Garrus/Tali. Dragon Age: Handers. Fenders. Whatever Hawke/Fenris is called. I haven't quite made up my mind about Sebastian yet, but I'm giving him the squinty eyes. Also, Warden/Zevran. HP: Harry and Ginny (ughhh). Also, Harry/Draco. Because really? Really? The Witcher: Yeah. Geralt/Yennefer. Triss all the way!

There's also a buttload from FF games and so on (anything that isn't Fanille from the XIII series, for example, like Hoperai). I could go on about ships I dislike for a looooooooong time :P

10: Play any MMOs? Not YET, actually. I've got a whole bunch now for PC - I just don't have the proper equipment. What I've learned from this is that cheap wireless keyboard and mouse was a really bad idea.

With that in mind, once I have the spare income to purchase replacements, I plan on diving into my collection, which includes The Old Republic, TERA, The Secret World, Torchlight, and Diablo 3, to name a few.

I also plan on picking up Destiny when it drops, which is semi-MMO-ish? I also play League of Legends, though I haven't played in months because of the aforementioned. I realize that I have my laptop, but if you think I can go back to ~28 fps in that game after experiencing 60, you've got another thing coming.

11: If you could shape-shift into an animal, what would you pick? Tough question. I've been described as a number of different animals over the course of my life: lion, wolf, bear (I get this one a lot), bull. But I think I'd go with dragon. Because those are animals, right? :D
