Chinese Kung Fu Explorations (Episode 3)

Woyin is a 29 year old Nigerian who came to China in 2012 to pursue a Master’s degree in Economics and Business from Nankai University.

About 3 weeks into his Master’s programme Woyin went for a walk and noticed a few men in front of the university’s gym practising some sort of martial art. He asked one of them what they were doing, he thought they were doing Tai Chi. Master Ge told him that they were practising Ba Gua and asked him if he wanted to learn. Master Ge told him that he would teach him for free, but in return he would just have to be a good student. Woyin was amazed and so he began his Kung Fu journey. Two years later Master Ge accepted Woyin as his disciple.

Woyin’s Kung Fu journey was shown on China Central Television (CCTV9) on the 11th of April, 2015.
