Fic so good you gotta burn a cd
I put a fair amount of thought into the order of my cd burns and I want to point out a couple things,
Not only are the two most modern songs at the end because they technically don’t fit the vibe (besides Mary Jane’s 93’) but they also reflect both of their times apart and are right next to each other, so for Remus that’s Scar Tissue and Sirius it’s New York. There’s some significance being at the end as well, like a reflection.
Moonage is first because whenever I listen to that I can fully picture Wolfstar speeding down the highway, sunset beating on their skin, the beginning of a wild ride (pun intended), and Remus seeing the ‘Moony’ tat.
Southern Nights was the first song I put on my Spotify Black Mass playlist because it’s so perfect for a lot of the fic so it’s second.
And the heart with their initials on the cd itself is from a later chapter where Sirius carves their initials into a hotel bed headboard.
Other than that the songs are in order of vibe and sound, I tried to remember the timeline of the fic but that was not happening so I went with what I felt during the beginning, middle, and end while reading.
I’m actually not finished, chapter 18, but I wanted to listen to this while reading.
