for all the stories i've heard about theater etiquette being dead, i've had two nice theater experiences in a row where people were generally chill and quiet

#granted yesterday was a smaller local theater and today was a 10pm showing (i figured that late wouldn't have small children 💀)#(no offense to kids but i do assume kids will be louder in a movie #since they're excited and everything)#honestly the thing that got me was like. after the movie today i was hearing someone ask basic questions about the movie #that were explained in the text. im just assuming they weren't interested in the series and came with a friend/loved one #but i did have the accursed thought of ''damn media literacy is so dead...''#postatoes
