Nekocon was okay this year. We had a lot of technical difficulties and the manager of Tech Ops was having no fun. The convention felt boring compared to previous years, no real inspiring panels (besides the overly manly one) and the DJ's at the rave were not great at all. On top of that, all my interviews fell through as my team was told that "we are not allowing any interviews this year" the day of the con. Rumor had it that some VA's were also charging $10 for a photo with them. 

I'm not entirely pleased with this year's nekocon, i was given a press badge and did no press work. Felt like i cheated the system, and wish that wasn't the case. I'll be swinging by again next year, but something needs to get done about the convention itself. Something about Nekocon 2014 made me feel like i was entering a convention that wasn't ready for another month.
