just thinking about how niall giving up the memory of declan's birth could have been a truly horrifying and understandable moment of a young boy/couple all alone experiencing a genuinely horrifying event (childbirth) that he wants to forget due to everything around it if stief had just gone HARD on the "young parents" aspect and how traumatized niall is just with how he grew up... I think I would've been far more sympathetic to him if he wasn't 20 lol AND if it wasn't because he was "too happy" be so fr...
