Awe thanks friend! It’s actually a pretty common color I think in fancier breeding circles? I rarely see it at the store, which is why I had to whisk him away when I saw him at petco :’D

I think it’d probably be called mustard gas grizzle or yellow grizzle... yeah, if you google that +betta you get a lot of similar color patterns from fancier bred half moons and such! He looks like a blueberry muffin to me, haha.

I LOVE Steven universe pls feel free to tell me ur feelings abt it as you watch

Mostly my feelings at this point consist of hysterical laughing at shit like Cat Fingers and the weird references that get thrown in. Cat Fingers - Akira, Frybo - The Thing (1982 Carpenter version). And Amethyst, who cracks me up.

But it’s such a good show with no gratuitous cruelty or mean-spiritedness. It’s funny as hell (in a for-kids way, but it’s a good demonstration of how we think of kids’ humor as not being funny because the majority of it is VERY BADLY WRITTEN). The gender stuff isn’t “handled well” because up to this point it’s never even made into an issue, which is refreshing.

The animation style isn’t a style I really like, but it’s done well.

Overall, I just really like it.
