current state: 2/4 parts are done! idk yet if i'll post it at once or in 4 different chapters, but either way i want to finish it all before i put any of it out there. i love this story very very much and put a lot of my personal experience in it, so i hope i end up proud of how it turns out!

17. what's a book, movie, or show you think [character] would like?

Hange Zoë from snk would love the Aliens film series, and probably not so much for Sigourney Weaver (which was my main motivation in watching it), but for the whole journey of trying to understand a monstrous life form instead of just wanting to annihilate it and the lesson there is to learn there about colonial greed and scientific cruelty? idk, i just feel like them and Ellen Ripley have a lot in common 🥺

for his part i like to hc Chuuya Nakahara from bsd as being really into "trash" tv reality shows. that boy is so smart and so strong and has so many responsibilities, i feel like he likes nothing more than to relax with a glass of wine watching "silly" stuff that allows him to stop thinking for a while and just. be a normal lil twenty-something guy (this of course is ammunition for Dazai to mock him and call him stupid. but what else is new)

i can't think of anything good for Yuuri or Victor for some reason!! nothing apart from the obvious choices of like Victor having facetime sessions for RuPaul's Drag Race with Chris, or Yuuri watching a bunch of culinary shows during the season so he can feel like he's enjoying the idea of food without cheating on his diet?? my brain doesn't want to think of anything else for them, sorry 😐

as for bsd, i think i fell in love with Chuuya the first time i saw him on my screen and only loved him more and more at each badass appearance he made, and with Yosano's ability and then with her when we found out more of her backstory. they're both my babies and i love them very much!!

i've shipped Chuuya with Dazai (and i'm sorry for it every day, Chuuya baby, for that man truly is your Significant Annoyance huh) basically from the get go and that hasn't really changed. although i guess i now more often than before occasionally envision them in different throuple configurations that could work! so that's changed a little bit i guess.
