Shipping meme ( Still accepting !! )

9. Who are some characters you ship your muse with?

At the moment, I only have a handful of ships with Rosie. Given shes difficult as hell to deal with, shipping is not always easily (1. because of the nature of her doesnt make her easy to love and 2. Because I'm a babu and dont like to feel like I'm jumping the gun on people to love her askgifn)

She varies by fandom, but I have about 4 at the moment

- The main ones are with Guts (@cecidesent) is one of the first ships she had when I got here to tumblr. Berserk fandom has died out but it still is my first love before the fandom like tore itself apart. Although my Guts isn't around publicly, the verse where they shared their immortal lives together and Rosie spends her lifetime lamenting him in the modern day is the :V: The Fall: verse.

- My most common one you probably see on my blog is my Marvel verse, where Rosie is married to Eddie Brock(aka. Venom) (@osteum) and they have a family of 6 kids( 4 birthed, 2 adopted) all together. It has a lot of development behind the scenes but it's kind of my go-to if I'm not using my main verse because I love my symbiote kids and it honestly leaves a lot of room for exploring because of the up and down of their parents relationship, but also because of the anti-symbiot policies in the Marvel universe and how people see them. Rosie is still a leader of the angel squad and real deal always ready to throw down because of the bad reputation symbiots have the the people that shit talk about her Eddie and Venom. Its wild. This verse is found in the :V: Fate can be kind: tag.

- My other Marvel verse is with Wendell Vaughn (@quantahope) where Rosie and Wendell are still in a developing(long distance) relationship. Its honestly really sweet with the two of them sharing that burden as protectors, and it's full of jokes and their two strange families coming together. Mia and Malakaid love Wendell and Epoch, and Mia is an especially bad influence now that she has the power to convince her naive siblings to cause trouble with her. And lastly is a plot driven ship with Lauren(@sunflcwcrr) which started out as sweet but Rosie is a crazyass bitch and the ship has lowkey turned toxic mainly of Rosie's part( Aka. She keeps wanting to impulsively hurt and kill this girl every time they're even slightly intimate) , but 2 single moms coming together after heartache and using each other for comfort for what is no more is a true angst trip.

Those are my only ships at the moment, while Rosie may playfully flirt and have relations with people (aka @maxskulline and @skulldxddy) that may seem border shippy, true ship with her is fairly difficult. Its honestly at a point where like.. Rosie really doesn't want to always be the first one to be chasing the other, she isnt too crazy about one sided pinning because noe shes an older lady, so for now those may be the only ships I got going on now ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

In her own canon, ships that occur are mainly with:

- Kasimir( now an ex-husband)

- Rocky( verse dependent, but deceased in main canon.),

- Jacob (( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) No one gets details on this one )

quizzical .  it was best described at such a abrupt statement .   though from him it sounded almost as if he knew something he did not  .   tch  ,  sounded like nothing but damned nonsense .   what did he know ?  what did anyone know ?  the only one who could ever have an idea of him is him  .  metal bat’s gaze sharpen much line a blade to a rhinestone  as if it wasn’t stabbing before . a bubbling rise from the pit of his chest  where a great bellow  breathed desperately into his charcoals  .   

what did he know   ?

 was this man wrong though  ?   metal bat had killed many monsters   of all kinds.  and recently he has come this close to killing a human but was stopped despite fully intending to do so  .  despite not killing a human  are the lives of monster no different then making hima  killer ?  and furthermore,  if he had fully intended on killing a human in the past does that not make him equal to so ?   it’s murder before the murder is ever done  .  metal bat sucked his teeth and cracked his tongue looking upward at the man .  he was too young to even recognize that the look that man gave held something eerie to it.  perhaps the anger clouded it.

What’s meant to be is meant to be.

 “I don’t like to believe that, not always.” There’s a frown set on Penny’s face. “It sounds really nice when you say it for good things, but…sometimes things can be going bad, or you can be stuck in a really bad situation and I don’t think-” She pauses and glances up at the tall man. 

 “I don’t think it’s meant to be if good people are in bad situations. I think…I think they deserve to get themselves out of it. To better life for them and if they can for people around them.”

"I'm home, my Queen... I've finally found you."

Its just a dreamIts just a dream

Take it slow, don’t forget to breathe.

She never quite believed in the physics and logic of movies in the dramatic climax of a fated meeting.  The slow down of the world around them, as all sound drains out from the ears. To meet the eye of the fated person, like it was meant to be. It seemed stupid and dragged out for the cinematic effect of the narrative, 

and yet, the world had a way of proving her wrong constantly. In that moment, it did feel like a movie to her.

“ Everyone hold your position. Back off, now..”

Its hard to keep her voice from shaking, to keep the fluctuation of her emotions in check from being noted by her battered Angel team.  This was just suppose to be a simple monster case.. The news called it a demon burning red. Wreaking havoc through the city since the moment he appeared. It should have been simple. It should have been simple.. but the next thing she knows, her team is getting a smack down on live television news. In that moment, she saw a ghost on the screen. Thought once more her grief comes back to skew her reality . Perhaps her dreams had once again clashed with reality, or perhaps she still was sleeping.

Then she was here. And he was in front of her, just out of reachIt really did feel like a movie.

The world seemed to distort and fade from her sights, in her mind. It trembled and collided with scenes from another time, and it seemed time itself had slowed in her approach of her fallen champion just beyond her. The sound of confused voices are muddled and muffled to silence, as though nothing in the world mattered at the time. She’s drawn back to a time much simpler than this…Her heart aching with the memory of blood on her hands. The blood of her love, in that final moments of life as she cradled his body, and he took his last breath. Thousands of years ago.. Thousands of years had passed since then. Where she buried his body in the mausoleum, and let their story be lost in time. With every step she felt her heart creep higher and higher into her throat, the sensation of choking on welling emotions as fear grows in her bones that this was not real. 

My champion.. where did you go?

She had pictured moments like this in the thousand years of solitude that had passed since his death.. and it ended the same with every dream. Rosie slowed her pace just a foot away from her apostle, hardly taller than his body even on his knees. The world seemed colder, surreal and distant as she fixated on his face. His eyes still burned that red of hellfire.. His face still angular and scarred, with sharply defined features, forever worn heavily as evidence of the struggler’s strife. The brand of sacrifice a dull faded scar still marking his muscular neck… And his hands, still callused and rough as the swordsman she once remembered. In her eyes she felt the burning sting of rising heat in her sockets. Her body threatened to tremble, though she restrained it with the refusal to let her team see her weakness.Sweat had begun to build up in her pals as she dare lean in closer, to gently bend forward just inches away, she finds herself still fearful to reach. So close, she could catch the scent of brimstone and sweat on his skin.. the scent of iron that had always been unique to him, that could never be washed away.

Inside his eyes, he looked at her with that desperation only a hound could hold for his mistress. And his eyes, she saw herself, just as she had once did so many years ago.. This was her struggler, who rose from the grave to make it back home. There no other man she knew stubborn enough to fight death and defy his fate as Guts could.. True to his vow. Her beloved wolf had returned to his moon.

“ …Oh my God… Guts.. My Gutsy.. ”

She whispered those words lowly, uttered in quiet disbelief. She inched closer to close the space, her shaky hands willed forward to hover, but ever afraid to touch his scarred skin. The angel’s eyes wandered his features over and over, doubtful and yet so full of hope for the reality that he was before her. She takes the leap that filled her with fear the most, and closed her eyes upon closing the space between her fingers and his skin.

She touched him tenderly. It feels like sparks, just as it had in the night they met. The weakness rattles her bones.

 “ Oh God.. Oh God, 

    You really are here.. “

     Her memories tended to be only thing to catch her up to speed            when she put herself in the dark after battle. 

It came in flashes and scenes in her mind. Blurred sights and sounds, distant scents that stung her nose; The potent smell of blood wafted in the dark, where she could not pinpoint its source.    Blood, iron, and Rot.  All blending together in the masterpiece of death. She could feel that sticky ichor clinging to her skin, caked with dirt. Floating in a hellish landscape of her desolate dreams, the world moved slowly around her. The last thing she remembered was the flash of iron , the metal maw of a beast..  the splay of flesh and entrails that litter the ground. 

and the pain.     Oh, the pain!

She was fighting someone in the dead of night. Running, then fighting, then everything hurt. Whatever she fought was strong.. It made her head spin, made the world spin. til she latched onto it. Rosie could remember the lick of burning flames, and the distorted figure in the center of it all. She reached for it, took hold.. 

Her arm was bleeding. It burned like the fire as she ripped him out of it.  The stinging ache shot through the limb in a flash of white pain. Something moved towards her in the darkness, flashing bloodied teeth. Wake up, wake up while you can!

   ...GASP...! Rosie Shot up from her place. She woke up in a daze, gaping for breath like a fish out of water. Her chest heaved with every deep intake, her heart pounding sporadically against her ribs til it too ached. The world remained unclear for a moment, just as it had been in the dream. Except there was light, and hazy colors. She didn’t like the fact that she could not see. The angel reacts quickly with her right arm rising to rub the heavy sleep from her eyes. she was sleeping.. she had been sleeping. Somewhere soft.. covered. It wasn’t the grass outside. As the world cleared, the angel could steadily make out her surroundings. The air was damp and humid.. the walls grey, a kind of den or cave of a sort. Beneath her , she realized by the ache in her shoulders, had been her mucky wings as her bed, still outstretched and worn from the night before. What covered her was her cloak, no longer attached at he shoulder, but thrown over like a blanket. To say she was confused was an understatement... how had she gotten there? As far as she knew, she knocked out in a pile of mud and guts.. which explained the icky feeling of filth on her skin. There was a burned out campfire at the center, blackened and still gently smoking.. her armor removed, her belongings set aside not too far.. Orpheus? Where was her familiar? The cold feeling in her chest now made sense with the absence of her only friend. It sank into a small, subtle feeling of panic as her eyes flitted about in search for the bird.. But what she found, just across the extinguished fire, was another body. 

It was a large mass... in the dimness of the den, she could hardly make out the details in the shadows of  morning light. It lay still and covered in a large black cloak, breathing softly as far as her ears could tell. She narrowed her eyes curiously.. then spoke out to it in a low whisper.

“ Uh.. Hello? anybody over there? ”

Does Venom Snake go through an identity crisis once he finds out the truth? How does it affect his psyche?

While he has had his suspicions for the duration of the events of The Phantom Pain up until the truth was revealed, it still came as a heavy shock and blow to him and it was a very hard pill for him to swallow. He truly believes he is the real Big Boss even though his mind had been giving him small clues ( I’ll write a headcanon on that later on ) that it isn’t the case. 

What was worse was as much as he tried to remember himself as who he was previously, he doesn’t feel like that man or even that man exists inside of himself anymore. The way he sees it is his old self died on that day in the helicopter crash and no matter how hard he tries it just will never be the way it was before for him. 

Once he knows the truth, he wholly threw himself into his role as Big Boss’ phantom and accepted the fact that this was his new existence now. It wasn’t that he gave up, but more or less resigned himself to continue on the dream that the man he admired and is now emulating.
