maybe they’re tired of a joke. maybe theyve been more educated since last march. i got into hs last may, so this march eridan stuff is new for me, pretty irritating, and honestly, it makes me feel uncomfortable.

well i can understand if you actually are new to the fandom and you've never experienced the march madness before

but as far as the rest of the fandom, march has come around at least twice since Marchie was introduced (im not sure when that calendar came out) and i've never seen this much of a shitstorm before

and at any rate if something makes you uncomfortable that doesn't give you a right to tell people what to blog about or shame people for liking something. i know a lot of people who are uncomfortable about things like gore and suicide, but that doesn't mean nobody should ever blog about those things ever. nor does it mean you're a horrible person if you do blog about those things or enjoy thinking about them. just tag, tag, tag.

as long as people tag their shit then a simple blacklist should be fine. if they don't tag it, that's their fault.

Hi!! You don't have to answer but I'm just curious about the snk fandom. Maybe it's that I don't follow enough snk blogs but I've been in the fandom for a while and I've never seen any hostility or bad stuff? I'm kinda worried now just because I've never had a fandom ruin something for me and I really wouldn't like to see it for myself. What happened that made it bad?

anyWAY yeah i do actually have a lot of problem with the whole ereri portion of the fandom, esp because of the sheer amount of people who started shipping them only after levi beat the shit out of eren. i'm in a lot of fandoms where people ship large age gaps but the snk fandom really takes it to a skeevier level than ive previously seen

BUT MY MAIN PROBLEM WITH THE SNK FANDOM IS HOW COMPLETELY ELITIST IT IS LMAO

like yeah snk was a decent anime, i enjoyed watching it but it its not the END ALL BE ALL OF QUALITY ANIME AND QUALITY FANDOM that its fans think it is. the animation is only nice on the backgrounds, but the show, over all isn't aesthetically pleasing. but the fandom just acts SOOOO FULL OF ITSELF. not to mention PLENTY of queer erasure
