Maiden name headcanons crack and not-so-crack ideas
Titania Tilpin's maiden name probably WASN'T Chrystal, because I like to believe she went to Bloor's and they would've recognized her if she'd had that name before
I think Steffania was her great-aunt, so it's likely Sugwash was originally Silas' name, not hers. a fun option still!
I think it would be funny if Tilpin was her maiden name. alliteration, first of all; and secondly I love pushover husbands to evil wives :3 thirdly imagine the Bloor's going "you think that Titania girl had a brother or cousin?" when Josh shows up
Florence de Grey used to be a Fork, like Cecily from Phantom Sleepers
On that note, Cecily keeps her name through all her marriages and both Carver and Septimus have her last name too
Natalia should have honestly kept her maiden name. more Dobinskis. matriarchal weird endowed family. now I have to pretend that Zelda's mother was born a Dobinski, but as the oldest daughter had to carry on the family line because for genetic reasons the family doesn't have sons (but... intersex infertile daughters... for fun Zelda headcanons :3)
After the books end, Venetia changes her name back to Yewbeam and makes Eric take that name because she really wants that legacy. esp since Grizelda's kids have failed them
On that note, something similar definitely happened up the Yewbeam family tree already: that someone kept their mother's name
Jones is Maisie's birth name, and she was never married.
Also I like to believe that Jessamine was named Sage and the Judge took her name lolol. (not sure if I can characterize her as that, but it would make more sense with the endowments.)
Vivienne's maiden name might've been Valerie
