😼 or ☄️, kete? -- @cecilyreeve
😼- Transformed into an animal/monster
Cecily should have known better than to wander so far out in the middle of the night. No one knows what one may encounter when the shadows fall.
Tonight, she saw something terrible.
Once, she had known Kete to be a man. Though smaller than most Xaela, he made up for it in attitude and bravado. Still, he was strong- a fact he was always ever so eager to prove. He would boast, shout, proclaim his skill at arms and life.
Now, the only sounds that came from his mouth were growls.
His skin, once a fine lavender, had hardened over- chitinous growth of ebon-black scales overtook his body, glittering in the pale moonlight. Sharper growths jutted painfully from his elbows, his chin, his kneecaps, his fingers- the latter were claws now, vicious and sharp. These scales only ceased at particular areas for movement: the inner elbows, the armpits, the back of the legs.
His purple hair was still visible, but longer, more wild- less tamed, falling some over his eyes. And those eyes- their boldness had not faded, but a wild look burned in them now. Piercing through even the darkness of the night, disturbing even to look upon.
He was taller. More vicious. Dangerous.
More diresaur than man, he had become.
And as he turns to face the midlander, snarling and flexing his blade-like fingers, one thing was certain:
Cecily had better start running.
