second of all i’ve been thinking about your biology hcs, specifically the bit about his habit of drooling and I have something to add:
ok so dog saliva has mild antibacterial properties that prevent infection and aid in would healing, so I think that Czarnian saliva can do something similar! (we see in fragtastic voyage that his tongue and teeth are quite doglike) Maybe Czarnians salivate as a stress response and it’s like their bodies ‘preparing’ for possible injury! Additionally, licking wounds can help clear the area of dirt and debris, meaning that when Lobo gets an injury, his first impulse is to lick it clean, but since he doesn’t usually have time to stop and do that in the middle of fights, he just kinda drools all the time lol.
It also carries angst potential 👀 like if you’re injured and stranded somewhere, perhaps? I can see him looking down at you with droopy ears like “c’mon you gotta hang in there :( i’m gonna find somebody and make ‘em fix you”
And he has no idea how to comfort people so the only thing he can think to do is lick your scrapes and hopefully make it hurt a tiny bit less AUGHHH
