I'd love to know more about,, CeeCee's,,, clones,,

Sure!! So in the story, CeeCee's been a puzzling cryptid to humanity for centuries; she seems to dissappear and re-apear in history throughout the ages. Everything about her is intriguing- so scientists attempted to clone her, because in the scientifically advanced Saltyverse, if a unique creature exists, people will attempt to clone it.

But nobody is able to produce an exact clone, or at least one that lives more than a few hours. (When CeeCee underwent Hyper Evolution, she ended up fucking her DNA up really badly.)

So instead, a few scientists manage to create some not-exact clones, that are either her DNA mixed with something else, altered, or are just made to look like her.

Eventually she stumbles across all 5 clones, and they kind of become a big family and travel together. Their story's name is CeeCee's Ballad.

Fun fact, I was thinking of making each clone represent a mental illness, since CeeCee clearly suffers from depression and God knows what else, and I want it to be a story of them each learning to cope with their problems in a healthy manner- but that requires a lot of careful research and stuff. So I haven't quite gotten to it yet. But yeah! Hope that was interesting
