An electronic entry sound chirmed when he silently stepped into the next grocery store, the smell of plastic and cleanser seeping through his nostrils. The white floor was almost blinding his eyes and for a moment, he feared that his shoes might taint the linoleum. Faintly, he could hear the tune to one of the latest songs, giving the otherwise so bald space a lively atmosphere.
Jongsuk's gaze fell on the different isles with their products neatly stacked, wondering in which direction he should go to find what he was looking for. His shopping list wasn't long, just like the time he wanted to spend in this shop as he had a case to work on. Not being able to finish his work at his workplace, he decided to read through a pile of papers at home, doing a night shift wherefore he needed one thing: coffein.
Long legs lead him towards the bakery section until he stopped in front of a shelf filled with different kinds of coffee. Instant, beans, cups, pads - the choice was wide but apparently not wide enough as his favourite coffee was sold out. Funny, he thought, as so many companies sell their 'premium' coffee, though, in the end, they all didn't taste close to what great coffee tasted like in a coffee shop. Not that he was an expert. With a displeased face, he picked up a different one in the same price range and made his way to the checkout, putting the jar on the conveyor belt, fingers holding onto his wallet as he was ready to pay, ready to leave.
